If you hold a Morocco passport and your UAE visit visa is close to expiry, a a2a visa change is the quickest legal route to a fresh 60 day tourist visa. At White Sky Travel we book the return flight, file the new visa as soon as your exit stamp is recorded, and keep in touch on WhatsApp from check in to arrival.
In short: Morocco passport holders pay AED 1,550 for a a2a visa change, which covers the return flight from Dubai, the 60 day single entry visa and our coordination, with most travellers back in Dubai within six to twelve hours.
Looking to extend your stay in the UAE?
Let White Sky Travel help you process an airport visa change from a tourist visa, cancelled residence visa, or current visa on-arrival.
How a a2a visa change works
A a2a visa change works on one principle: you must be outside UAE territory before a new tourist visa can be activated against your passport. The rule is that the applicant, in this case a Morocco passport holder, must be abroad when the new visa is processed. Air travel is the most efficient way to complete the exit. From Dubai you would normally fly to Muscat, Kuwait City or Doha and return to Terminal 2 within six to twelve hours.
The land alternative is the visa change by bus to Oman, which takes longer and involves a night near the border. Flying is the more expensive choice, but it is faster and far more comfortable for Morocco families, older passengers and busy professionals.
Is a a2a visa change the right option for you?
Most 30 day and 60 day UAE visit visas can now be extended from inside the country, so a a2a visa change is not always necessary. For Morocco citizens, the following circumstances call for a a2a visa change:
- You have reached the 120 day ceiling after extending a 30 day visa three times or a 60 day visa twice.
- You are on a cancelled residence visa and want to stay on as a visitor while you find a new job. A a2a visa change gives you a 60 day tourist visa.
- Your visa expired before you applied for an extension. In that case you pay the overstay fine and exit on a a2a visa change.
- You hold a permit that is not extendable from inside the UAE. Send us a photo of your visa on WhatsApp and we will advise the correct route for a Morocco passport.
Why timing matters in 2026
UAE authorities charge AED 50 for every day a visit visa remains expired, and the same flat rate applies across all visa types and emirates. Tourist and visit visas carry no grace period, which means fines begin immediately after the expiry date. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. The price does not change with urgency, which is why we suggest starting the process with at least 10 to 15 days remaining.

How much does a a2a visa change cost?
The package for Morocco passport holders is straightforward: AED 1,550 for a 60 day single entry visa and the return flight on flydubai. The price is the same whether you are changing from a tourist visa or converting a cancelled residence visa. That figure pays for the flydubai ticket, the visa itself and our coordination on travel day.
- Visa type: 60 days, single entry
- Airline: flydubai, departing and returning at Dubai Terminal 2
- How you get it: a PDF copy on WhatsApp while you wait at the transit airport
- Assistance: WhatsApp support throughout, including on the day of travel
- Fee: AED 1,550 per adult traveller
We only sell the 60 day a2a visa change, since a 30 day visa would cost nearly as much for half the validity. A surcharge of AED 100 applies to a small number of nationalities that require additional processing, and we will tell you before you pay whether a Morocco passport is affected. Any overstay fine is settled by you at immigration before you fly and is separate from our fee.
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. It is separate from the visa price, it is returned after you exit the UAE at the end of your stay, and we confirm the amount for Morocco passports on WhatsApp before you pay anything.
Payment plans for UAE residents
For UAE residents sponsoring a Morocco family member or friend, the AED 1,550 can be split with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link.
Paperwork for a a2a visa change
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- A clear scan of your Morocco passport, both the data page and the back cover. Missing back covers cause most resubmissions.
- Six months minimum validity from your flight date, two blank pages, and a passport in clean condition.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear, taken recently.
- Your current visa copy, either the tourist visa you hold or the residence cancellation paper.
Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Morocco be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible. One more step: fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app a few days before you fly.
What happens on the day
Before travel
We lock in the flight, forward the ticket on WhatsApp and check that any outstanding fines have been paid online. If you are within your visa validity, the airport stage costs nothing extra. Choose a Monday to Thursday departure. Friday flights carry a risk of weekend delays, since Saturday and Sunday are non working days for government offices.
At the airport
Arrive at Dubai International Terminal 2 around five hours before departure, check in at the flydubai counter and collect both boarding passes. Send us a picture of each boarding pass on WhatsApp straight away. After the exit is registered, we submit the new tourist visa application for your Morocco passport without delay.
In Muscat, Kuwait or Doha
You will be in the air for about an hour. You remain in the transit area and do not need to clear immigration in Oman, Kuwait or Qatar for a same day return. Approval usually arrives within hours, and you receive the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Occasionally immigration orders a security check, extending the wait to 24 to 48 hours. You can remain at the airport and we will monitor the status with you.
Arrival at Terminal 2
If we have already sent the PDF, go straight to the eGate at Terminal 2. If the visa is still processing when you land, do not use the eGate; go to a manual immigration counter and wait in the designated area until we confirm approval. Your 60 days begin on the entry date.
A2A versus extension versus bus
If you still have an in country extension available, use it first; a 30 day extension without exit costs AED 1,200 and needs no travel. A a2a visa change becomes the right choice the moment extension is no longer possible, and it delivers 60 days rather than 30 for AED 1,550. The bus to Oman costs less, from AED 1,000 for residence cancellation and AED 1,400 to 1,500 for visit visa holders, but it takes a day or two and includes a night away. Most Morocco passport holders find the flight worth the difference for the time it saves.

What can go wrong and how to avoid it
- Booking too late. Flights sell out around Eid, December and the January peak, so message us at least a week ahead.
- Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve a visa in that case, so renew first.
- Ticket name errors. We need the full name exactly as printed in the Morocco passport.
- Overstay fines still due. Pay them in advance through the GDRFA or ICP app.
- Assuming a grace period. There is none, so a visa expiring on the 10th must be extended or exited by the 10th.
- Previous immigration issues. Old bans, unresolved cases or improperly cancelled visas can affect approval, so tell us about them before you pay.
Answers for Morocco citizens
What is the total time from departure to return?
Most Morocco travellers are back within six to twelve hours. A security check can extend this to 24 to 48 hours, during which you may wait at the airport.
Is there a limit on repeat visa changes?
There is no fixed limit, but every application is assessed on its own and repeated back to back changes attract closer scrutiny. Most of our clients do one or two before moving to a residence visa or leaving the UAE.
Is a a2a visa change possible for cancelled residents?
Yes. This is the most common case we handle. Your employer cancels the residency, you receive the cancellation paper, and we convert you to a 60 day tourist visa at the same AED 1,550 rate.
Where does the flight go?
Muscat, Kuwait City or Doha, depending on flydubai availability on your chosen date. All are under two hours from Dubai and support a same day return.
Do Morocco passport holders need an Oman visa for this?
Not for a same day return. You do not enter Oman, Kuwait or Qatar; you stay in transit.
Can I bring my family?
Certainly. Every family member, including children, needs a ticket and visa, and we arrange all of them together.
What if immigration declines the application?
Refusals are rare. If immigration declines, you cannot re enter the UAE on the return flight and would need to travel onward. Visa processing fees are not refundable because they cover government costs, which is why we assess risk factors such as previous overstays or bans before you pay.
Is this an official process?
It is fully legal. The visa is issued by the UAE authorities in the normal way; the only difference is that you are outside the country at the time.
