For travellers from Saint Kitts and Nevis, a a2a visa change means leaving the UAE on a short flight and coming back the same day with a brand new 60 day tourist visa. We take care of the flydubai booking, the visa submission and the timing, so Saint Kitts and Nevis travellers spend the least possible time away from Dubai.
In short: Saint Kitts and Nevis passport holders pay AED 1,550 for a a2a visa change, which covers the return flight from Dubai, the 60 day single entry visa and our coordination, with most travellers back in Dubai within six to twelve hours.
Looking to extend your stay in the UAE?
Let White Sky Travel help you process an airport visa change from a tourist visa, cancelled residence visa, or current visa on-arrival.
What is a a2a visa change?
A a2a visa change is an exit and re entry. The rule is that the applicant, in this case a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport holder, must be abroad when the new visa is processed. A flydubai rotation to a nearby GCC airport is the fastest way to do it. Most Saint Kitts and Nevis travellers fly from Dubai Terminal 2 to Muscat, Kuwait City or Doha and are back in Dubai the same day.
The land alternative is the visa change by bus to Oman, which takes longer and involves a night near the border. Although a a2a visa change is dearer than the bus option, the time saved makes it the sensible choice for most Saint Kitts and Nevis visitors.
Is a a2a visa change the right option for you?
Most 30 day and 60 day UAE visit visas can now be extended from inside the country, so a a2a visa change is not always necessary. These are the situations where Saint Kitts and Nevis travellers should book one:
- All your extensions are used up. The UAE allows a 30 day visa to be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, and total stay cannot go beyond 120 days.
- Your employer has cancelled your residence visa. Cancellation papers cannot be extended, so a a2a visa change converts you to a 60 day tourist visa.
- The expiry date has passed. Extension is no longer possible, so a a2a visa change after paying any fine is the way forward.
- You hold a permit that is not extendable from inside the UAE. Send us a photo of your visa on WhatsApp and we will advise the correct route for a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport.
Why timing matters in 2026
The overstay fine in the UAE is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly to tourist, visit and residence visas in every emirate. No grace period applies to visit visas, so the counter starts the very next day. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before they can leave. A a2a visa change booked ten days before expiry costs exactly the same as one booked on the last day, so we recommend contacting us when you still have 10 to 15 days remaining.

Price of a a2a visa change on a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport
The package for Saint Kitts and Nevis passport holders is straightforward: AED 1,550 for a 60 day single entry visa and the return flight on flydubai. There is one rate for both tourist visa renewals and residence cancellation cases. That figure pays for the flydubai ticket, the visa itself and our coordination on travel day.
- Visa issued: 60 day single entry UAE tourist visa
- Flight: flydubai return ticket from Dubai Terminal 2 to Muscat, Kuwait City or Doha
- Processing: visa applied while you are outside the UAE and sent to your WhatsApp as a PDF
- Support: our consultants on WhatsApp from booking until you clear immigration
- Price: AED 1,550 per adult
There is no 30 day version of our a2a visa change. The 30 day visa costs almost as much and delivers half the stay, so the 60 day package is the sensible option. An AED 100 supplement applies to certain passports that need extra processing time. Ask us whether Saint Kitts and Nevis is on that list before you book. Any overstay fine is settled by you at immigration before you fly and is separate from our fee.
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. It is separate from the visa price, it is returned after you exit the UAE at the end of your stay, and we confirm the amount for Saint Kitts and Nevis passports on WhatsApp before you pay anything.
Pay in instalments
If you are a UAE resident arranging a a2a visa change for a relative or friend holding a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport, you can pay through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link.
Paperwork for a a2a visa change
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- Front page and back cover of the passport. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
- A passport valid for six months or more from the date of travel, in good condition with two blank pages.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear, taken recently.
- The existing tourist visa PDF or, for cancelled residents, the cancellation document.
Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Saint Kitts and Nevis be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand. We also ask you to complete the short guarantee form at applyvisa.app before travel day.
The a2a visa change process from start to finish
Before travel
We lock in the flight, forward the ticket on WhatsApp and check that any outstanding fines have been paid online. If you are within your visa validity, the airport stage costs nothing extra. Avoid Fridays. If a security check is triggered on a Friday, approval may slip past the weekend when offices are closed.
Check in and exit at Dubai Terminal 2
Reach Terminal 2 at Dubai International about five hours early, check in with flydubai and ask for the outbound and return boarding passes together. Take clear photos of the two passes and send them to your consultant on WhatsApp. Immigration then stamps you out, which formally ends your current visa, and the moment your exit registers we submit your new visa application.
In Muscat, Kuwait or Doha
You will be in the air for about an hour. You stay in the international transit zone, so no visa for Oman, Kuwait or Qatar is required. Most applications clear within a few hours, and the approved visa reaches your WhatsApp as a PDF. Occasionally immigration orders a security check, extending the wait to 24 to 48 hours. You can remain at the airport and we will monitor the status with you.
Re entry
Once you have the PDF from us, you can use the eGate at Terminal 2 for a quick entry. If approval has not come through yet, skip the eGate, approach a manual counter and stay in the waiting area until we send the PDF. The new 60 day visa starts counting from the day you re enter.
Choosing between a a2a visa change, extension and the Oman bus
Before flying, check whether you qualify for the AED 1,200 in country extension, which adds 30 days without leaving. Once extension is off the table, the a2a visa change is the better option, giving 60 days for AED 1,550. The Dubai to Oman bus is the budget option, starting from AED 1,000 for cancelled residents and AED 1,400 to 1,500 for visit visa holders, but it takes one to two days with an overnight stay. For most Saint Kitts and Nevis visitors the flight is the better balance of time, comfort and certainty.

What can go wrong and how to avoid it
- Booking too late. Flights sell out around Eid, December and the January peak, so message us at least a week ahead.
- Passport validity under six months. Renew before you travel, as immigration will not issue a visa against a short validity passport.
- Spelling differences. Ticket and passport names must be identical, middle names included.
- Unpaid fines. Immigration will not let you board with outstanding overstay fines, so check and pay through the GDRFA or ICP app before you reach the airport.
- Counting on grace days. Visit visas have no grace period, so act before the printed expiry date.
- Past visa violations. Be open with us so that we can advise whether a a2a visa change is likely to succeed.
Frequently asked questions about a2a visa change for Saint Kitts and Nevis passport
How long will I be away from Dubai?
Plan for six to twelve hours. In rare cases a security review adds 24 to 48 hours, and both flydubai and Air Arabia let you stay airside until it clears.
How many times can a Saint Kitts and Nevis citizen do a a2a visa change?
You may repeat it, but approval is never automatic and repeated changes are scrutinised. One or two is typical.
Is a a2a visa change possible for cancelled residents?
Yes. Send the cancellation document and we handle the change to a 60 day tourist visa for the same flat price.
Where does the flight go?
Muscat is the most common, with Kuwait and Doha as alternatives, all within two hours of Dubai.
Is a transit visa required?
No. For a same day return you stay in the international transit area and do not pass through the other country’s immigration.
What about children on Saint Kitts and Nevis passports?
Yes. WhatsApp us all the passports and we will send one price for the family.
What if my visa is not approved?
Rejection is uncommon. Should it happen, you would need to fly on to your home country or another destination, and the visa fee is not refundable as it is a government charge. We flag risks before booking so that this does not come as a surprise.
Is this an official process?
Yes. You leave on the current visa and return on a new one granted by UAE immigration. Using a licensed agency keeps the application within official channels.
