Bus visa change for Armenia passport

If you hold a Armenia passport and your UAE visa is about to expire, a Bus visa change to Oman is the lowest cost way to leave the country and return on a fresh tourist visa. Our package covers the return bus, the Oman entry visa, UAE visa processing and all border charges, starting at AED 1,000. This page explains who qualifies, what a Armenia passport holder pays, which days the service runs, what to bring, and how the day unfolds at the border.

Short version: from AED 1,000 all in for a Armenia passport, Sunday to Wednesday departures, one day round trip to the Oman border, new 60 day UAE tourist visa issued before you return.

Planning to extend your stay in the UAE?

Check our visa renewal by bus service, including the UAE visa, border fees, Oman visa, two way bus fare, and accommodation until your visa is approved. Monthly payment is available with Tabby, Tamara, and UAE credit cards up to 12 months.

What is a Bus visa change to Oman?

At its core, a Bus visa change is a controlled exit from the UAE by land followed by a fresh entry. UAE immigration issues the new tourist visa against your Armenia passport while you are physically outside the country, so leaving is not optional. The coach takes you from Dubai to the Oman crossing, you enter Oman on the visa we arranged, the new UAE visa is processed, and you come back through the same checkpoint. Most travellers complete the round trip within a day, with an optional one day stay in Oman for those who prefer it or whose approval takes longer.

If you would rather not spend a day on the road, an airport to airport visa change via flydubai takes six to twelve hours and costs AED 1,550. The coach route is the more affordable choice for Armenia passport holders with a free day and a tight budget.

Who from Armenia can use the Bus visa change?

Not every passport can use the land border route; eligibility is set by nationality and by your current visa status. We check the position for Armenia passports on WhatsApp before you pay anything and advise the best route: bus, flight or extension. It is most commonly used by:

  • Visitors on a tourist visa who have reached the 120 day ceiling after extending a 30 day visa three times or a 60 day visa twice.
  • Cancelled residence visa holders who want to stay on as visitors while they find a new job or wrap up their affairs.
  • Visitors on an arrival stamp who prefer a new visa over departing the region.

Overstay fines and why you should book early

An expired visa attracts a fine of AED 50 per day, and that figure is the same for every visa category and every emirate. Visitors do not receive any grace days, and the fine runs from the first day of overstay. If you have overstayed, the fine must be paid before you depart; the coach cannot take you across the border with unpaid fines on your record. Because the service runs Sunday to Wednesday only and seats are limited, we ask Armenia travellers to book 7 to 10 days before the visa expires.

How much does a Bus visa change to Oman cost?

We charge according to the visa you are on today; nationality can add a refundable deposit or surcharge in a few cases.

  • AED 1,000 for cancelled residents and on arrival visa holders
  • Tourist visa holders: AED 1,300

Both packages include the round trip coach from Dubai, the Oman entry visa, processing of the new UAE tourist visa and all border fees. The standard product is a 60 day single entry UAE tourist visa; ask us on WhatsApp if a 30 day option is available on your travel date. A one day stay in Oman is available as an add on. If you have overstayed, the fine is paid to immigration and is not included in the AED 1,000 or AED 1,300.

Certain passports may be asked for a refundable security deposit. This is not part of the package fee, it is returned once you leave the UAE, and we tell Armenia travellers the exact figure on WhatsApp in advance.

Payment plans for UAE residents

Residents of the UAE who book on behalf of Armenia visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link.

Documents required for a Armenia passport

Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:

  1. Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. The existing tourist visa PDF, the on arrival stamp page, or for cancelled residents the cancellation document.
  4. Your UAE contact number and the address where you are staying, so we can confirm the pick up point and time.

Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Armenia be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. We apply for your Oman visa through the official eVisa system in advance, so you do not need to arrange anything with Omani immigration yourself. Keep your passport and a card or cash on hand; immigration sometimes asks re entering visitors to show they can support their stay.

What happens on the day

Booking stage

Once your documents are verified and payment is received, we apply for your Oman eVisa, reserve your seat on the coach and confirm the pick up point and departure time on WhatsApp. Clear outstanding fines online through GDRFA or ICP ahead of the trip.

The outbound leg

The coach leaves Dubai early and heads for the Oman border. Immigration records your exit at the UAE side, closing the old visa, and we file the new visa application immediately after. With the exit complete, you enter Oman on the visa we prepared.

While the visa is processed

The new UAE visa is normally approved within a few hours, and we send the PDF to your WhatsApp as soon as it arrives. Occasionally immigration orders a security check, extending the wait to 24 to 48 hours. The one day stay option exists for exactly this situation. Approval is always at the discretion of UAE immigration.

The return leg

Holding the approved visa, you re enter the UAE on the return coach and clear immigration with the PDF and your passport. The new 60 day visa is activated at entry and starts counting from that day. You are back in Dubai that evening, or the following day with the one day stay.

Should Armenia travellers take the bus, fly or extend?

If you still have an in country extension available, use it first; a 30 day extension without exit costs AED 1,200 and needs no travel. With no extension left, the Bus visa change offers the lowest price for a new 60 day visa, if a day on the road and midweek travel suit you. The flight option costs AED 1,550, operates daily and is back in Dubai in six to twelve hours, ideal for Armenia travellers with work or school commitments.

What can go wrong and how to avoid it

  • Booking too late. The coach runs Sunday to Wednesday only and seats fill quickly around Eid, December and January, so message us 7 to 10 days ahead.
  • A passport expiring within six months. Renew it before attempting a Bus visa change.
  • Fines left unpaid. Settle everything online before departure to avoid being held at the border.
  • Assuming a grace period. There is none, so a visa expiring on the 10th must be extended or exited by the 10th.
  • Undisclosed history. Prior overstays, bans or uncancelled visas can lead to refusal, so share them with us upfront.
  • Forgetting the original passport. Photocopies are not accepted at either border; the physical Armenia passport must travel with you.

Answers for Armenia citizens

How long will I be away from Dubai?

About one day, including the coach journey, border formalities and the wait for visa approval. If immigration orders a security check, approval can take 24 to 48 hours, and the optional one day stay in Oman covers that.

Bus visa change price for a Armenia passport?

AED 1,000 or AED 1,300 depending on your current visa, all in. The price covers transport both ways, the Oman visa, the new UAE visa and border charges. We confirm any deposit for Armenia citizens before booking.

Which days does the Bus visa change run?

Departures are Sunday through Wednesday. No coaches run Thursday to Saturday, so plan ahead and book 7 to 10 days in advance.

Is an Oman visa required?

Yes. The Oman eVisa is arranged by us ahead of time and its cost is already in the AED 1,000 or AED 1,300.

Can I do a Bus visa change on a cancelled residence visa?

Absolutely. Cancelled residents from Armenia use the bus route at AED 1,000 and return on a 60 day tourist visa.

Is there a limit on repeat visa changes?

The rules set no maximum, but each new visa is a fresh decision by immigration, and consecutive changes are looked at more carefully.

Is a refund possible if immigration refuses?

Very few applications are refused. If yours is, the return to the UAE is not possible and onward travel from Oman is required. Government visa fees cannot be refunded, so we review your history carefully first.

Are visa changes by road allowed?

Yes. It is a standard immigration process: you exit on your old visa and enter on a new one issued by UAE authorities. Always use a licensed agency so the visa is applied through official channels.
