Argentina passport Visa extension: fees, rules and process

For travellers from Argentina, the Visa extension is the simplest way to stay longer: no airport, no bus, just a 30 day extension processed while you remain in the UAE. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. This page explains who qualifies, what a Argentina passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Argentina passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

What is a Visa extension without exit?

Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Argentina passport. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.

This is different from an airport to airport visa change or a visa change by bus to Oman, both of which involve leaving the UAE and returning on a completely new tourist visa. If a Argentina passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.

Eligibility for Argentina passport holders

Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Argentina citizens before you pay anything.

  • Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
  • Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
  • Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.

Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. On arrival stamps and residence visas fall outside this service.

How much does a Visa extension cost?

Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Argentina passports pay the standard rate.

  • 30 day extension: AED 1,200
  • 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)

This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Any overstay fine is settled separately with immigration and is not included in the AED 1,200. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Argentina passport.

Payment options

If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Argentina passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.

Documents required for a Visa extension on a Argentina passport

The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:

  1. Your Argentina passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.

Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. In rare cases immigration asks for something extra; if so, we let Argentina applicants know straight away.

Getting your extension in four steps

  1. Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 with at least five to seven days remaining, and we confirm the same day.
  2. Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
  3. The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Argentina applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
  4. You receive the approved extension as a PDF on WhatsApp showing the new expiry date. Keep it with your passport for the rest of your stay.

Timing your Visa extension

The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Argentina visitors from missing the deadline. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.

What happens if you miss the deadline

There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Argentina passports.

What to do after the maximum extensions

Once a Argentina visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.

Why extensions get refused or delayed

  • Leaving it to the last day. An expired visa cannot be extended, so allow a week.
  • Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
  • Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
  • Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
  • Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.

Answers for Argentina citizens

Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Argentina passport?

You can. Argentina passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.

How much is a 2 month extension?

One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Argentina passports pay the standard rate.

How long does a Visa extension take?

Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Argentina travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.

How many extensions are allowed?

The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.

What if my visa came from a different agency?

Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.

How many days can I stay after the visa ends?

There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.

What about family members on Argentina passports?

Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.

What happens if it is not approved?

Refusals are rare when the eligibility rules are met. If immigration declines, the fee is not refundable because the government charge is paid at submission, and you would need to exit before expiry through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. We check eligibility carefully before you pay to keep this risk low.
