Chad passport Visa extension: fees, rules and process

If you hold a Chad passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Chad traveller needs to know before applying: fees, limits, deadlines, paperwork and the alternatives when extension is no longer possible.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Chad passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

The meaning of Visa extension for Chad passport holders

A Visa extension is an extension of the current permit; the visa number stays the same and the expiry date moves forward by 30 days. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Chad passport record. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.

The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. For eligible Chad travellers the extension beats the exit routes on cost, effort and time away.

Who qualifies

Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Chad citizens before you pay anything.

  • Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
  • Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
  • Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.

If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

Chad passport Visa extension price

A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Chad included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.

  • 30 day extension: AED 1,200
  • Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps

The fee covers the government charge and our processing, and it is not refundable if immigration declines the extension, because the government fee is paid at submission. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Chad visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.

Payment options

UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Chad can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.

Documents required for a Visa extension on a Chad passport

The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:

  1. A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. Your existing visa PDF, which tells us the entry date, expiry and extension count.

The extension does not call for a bank statement, accommodation proof or a return ticket. In rare cases immigration asks for something extra; if so, we let Chad applicants know straight away.

Getting your extension in four steps

  1. Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 at least five to seven days before your visa expires. We check the expiry date and extension count and confirm eligibility the same day.
  2. Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Chad citizens is two to three working days.
  4. The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.

When to apply and why the deadline matters

Applications are only accepted while the visa is still valid. Once it expires, extension is no longer possible. Because approval takes two to three working days and government offices close at weekends and on public holidays, Chad passport holders should message us five to seven days before expiry. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. If your visa has already expired, extension is off the table; the practical route is to pay the fine and exit through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman, and we can arrange either.

Options for Chad visitors after 120 days

When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. Four options follow: airport to airport at AED 1,550 and back the same day, the bus to Oman from AED 1,000 taking roughly a day, a return home before a new visa, or a residence visa through an employer or family member. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Chad travellers on WhatsApp.

Why extensions get refused or delayed

  • Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
  • Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
  • Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
  • Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
  • Expecting an on arrival stamp to be extendable. It is not; a visa change is required instead.

Chad passport Visa extension FAQ

Can Chad passport holders extend in country?

Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.

What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?

One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Chad passports pay the standard rate.

How long does a Visa extension take?

Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.

How many extensions are allowed?

A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days. The maximum continuous stay on any UAE tourist visa is 120 days, after which exit is mandatory.

Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?

The same agency rule applies to every nationality, Chad included. If we did not issue the visa, we cannot extend it, but we can reset you on a new 60 day visa by air (AED 1,550) or bus (from AED 1,000).

How many days can I stay after the visa ends?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Can spouse and children extend at the same time?

Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.

Is the fee refundable on rejection?

Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
