Visa extension without exit for Lebanon passport holders

For travellers from Lebanon, the Visa extension is the simplest way to stay longer: no airport, no bus, just a 30 day extension processed while you remain in the UAE. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. This page explains who qualifies, what a Lebanon passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Lebanon passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

The meaning of Visa extension for Lebanon passport holders

Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Lebanon passport record. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.

It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. Wherever a Lebanon citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.

Eligibility for Lebanon passport holders

Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Lebanon citizens before you pay anything.

  • Visitors on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visit visa who have not yet reached the extension limit.
  • Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
  • Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.

If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. On arrival stamps and residence visas fall outside this service.

How much does a Visa extension cost?

Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Lebanon passports pay the standard rate.

  • A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
  • 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals

The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Lebanon travellers.

Spreading the cost

UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Lebanon can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.

Documents required for a Visa extension on a Lebanon passport

Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:

  1. Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.

You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Lebanon passport.

The application process step by step

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
  2. Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Lebanon citizens is two to three working days.
  4. Once approved, we send the extension PDF on WhatsApp. It shows the new expiry date and should travel with your passport.

When to apply and why the deadline matters

The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Lebanon visitors from missing the deadline. Back to back extensions should each be filed a few days before the running expiry, always within the 120 day cap.

Overstay rules in 2026

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. Once expired, the visa cannot be extended. You settle the fine and use an exit route, airport to airport or bus, which we organise for Lebanon travellers.

What to do after the maximum extensions

Once a Lebanon visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.

Common problems for Lebanon applicants and how we prevent them

  • Leaving it to the last day. An expired visa cannot be extended, so allow a week.
  • Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
  • Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
  • Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
  • Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.

Answers for Lebanon citizens

Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Lebanon passport?

Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.

What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?

One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Lebanon passports pay the standard rate.

When will I receive the extension?

Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.

How many times can a Lebanon citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?

The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.

What if my visa came from a different agency?

Extensions go through the issuer’s account, so a visa from another agency must be extended by them. Alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change or the Oman bus, neither of which depends on who issued the first visa.

Can I stay a few days after expiry?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Can I extend visas for my family together?

Certainly. We extend the whole family at once, and residents sponsoring Lebanon relatives can pay the combined AED 1,200 per person on an instalment plan.

Is the fee refundable on rejection?

Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Lebanon applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
