Dubai visa for Austria citizens: price, documents and process

We process the Dubai visa for Austria citizens as a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa, available in single and multiple entry, with most approvals arriving in 24 to 72 hours. Rates start at AED 450, four documents cover most cases, and our consultants manage the application with you on WhatsApp. This page explains what a Austria passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.

In short: Austria passport holders pay AED 450 for a 30 day single entry Dubai visa, AED 650 for 60 days single entry, AED 800 for 30 days multiple entry and AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry. Approval takes 24 to 72 hours and entry must happen within 60 days of issue.

Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

Do Austria passport holders need a Dubai visa?

Most nationalities need a prearranged visa before flying to the UAE, and that is what we issue. Some passports are stamped on arrival instead, and the list of eligible countries is updated periodically. To be certain about the current rule for Austria citizens, WhatsApp us your passport page and we will check it at no cost.

What a Dubai visa costs from Dubai

Our rate card for Austria passports, confirmed in September 2026, is as follows:

  • 30 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 450
  • 60 day single entry: AED 650
  • 30 day multiple entry: AED 800
  • Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000

Thirty days is the minimum tourist visa length, and nothing shorter exists in this category. Should immigration refuse the application, the fee is not returned, as it covers government processing.

Security deposits explained

A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. The deposit sits apart from the visa fee, is returned after you leave the UAE, and we confirm the amount for Austria citizens on WhatsApp before booking.

Instalment plans for UAE residents

For UAE residents applying on behalf of Austria family or friends, payment can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

What Austria citizens need to send us

Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:

  1. Passport scan showing the front page and the back cover, valid for at least six months. A missing back cover is the most common reason an application is returned, so please include both.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
  4. If the applicant is a minor, a birth certificate. Certain passports additionally need a national ID card copy.

Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Austria be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible.

If a UAE resident is sponsoring you

For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. A family member’s UAE bank statement can replace the visitor’s statement if one is required, though friends cannot substitute theirs.

The application process step by step

  1. Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
  2. Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Processing starts only after documents are verified and payment is received.
  3. The application is filed and monitored by our team. Expect 24 to 72 hours for most Austria applicants, with occasional delays or extra document requests from immigration.
  4. Once approved, we send the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Show it at check in and at UAE immigration together with your passport.

How long the Dubai visa is valid

The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. The 30 or 60 day stay is measured from entry, not from issuance. With single entry you may arrive once; multiple entry permits several arrivals within the validity, ideal for regional itineraries that pass through Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. A WhatsApp reminder from us before expiry helps Austria visitors avoid fines.

Can Austria citizens extend the visa?

The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. Combined stay is capped at 120 days. At the 120 day point, a new visa requires an exit, which can be done by an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

An alternative issued through Sharjah

An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Austria applicants.

Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused

  • Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
  • Passport validity under six months. Renew before applying.
  • Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
  • Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
  • Single name passports. If your Austria passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
  • Applying too close to the travel date. Allow at least three working days, more during Eid and December.

Answers for Austria citizens

What is the processing time?

Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.

Price of a 30 day single entry visa?

For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.

How much is a 60 day Dubai visa for Austria passport holders?

The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.

Is a bank statement required for a Austria passport?

Only for certain nationalities. A UAE resident family member’s statement is accepted in those cases. Regardless, carry a card or cash on arrival in case immigration asks for proof of funds. WhatsApp us to check the rule for Austria.

What if I want to stay longer?

Yes. Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, all from inside the UAE, up to 120 days. Once exhausted, a visa change by air or bus is needed.

What happens if I overstay by a day?

There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.

What if immigration refuses my Dubai visa?

The fee is not returned if the visa is refused; it covers government processing. Reapplying is possible after the cause of rejection is fixed.

What about children on Austria passports?

Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.

Can I look for a job on this visa?

Employment is not allowed on a tourist visa. Job seekers can meet employers, but a work permit and residence visa are required before starting work.
