Documents required for a Dubai visa on a Brazil passport

2. A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.

Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Brazil applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. Sponsor requirements

Sponsors based in the UAE send their passport and residence visa copies with six months validity, front and back of the Emirates ID, and complete the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. A family member’s UAE bank statement can replace the visitor’s statement if one is required, though friends cannot substitute theirs.

Validity and duration of stay

You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. Single entry means one arrival only, while multiple entry allows repeated exits and returns during the validity period, useful for side trips to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.

Why the expiry date matters

Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. We remind Brazil travellers on WhatsApp before the expiry date, giving you time to act.

Visa extension without leaving the UAE

A 30 day visa can be extended three times for 30 days each, and a 60 day visa twice for 30 days each, with no exit required. Combined stay is capped at 120 days. When the extensions are used up, Brazil visitors must exit and return on a fresh visa, either by a same day flight or by the Oman bus route. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.

Sharjah visa option

An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Brazil applicants.

Why applications get held up

• Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
• Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve the visa in that case.
• Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
• Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
• Single name passports. If your Brazil passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
• Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.

Price of a two month visa?

AED 650 for single entry and AED 1,000 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 600 and AED 950.

Are financial documents needed?

It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. What if I want to stay longer?

Are there any grace days?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Refund policy on rejection?

Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.

Can children from Brazil apply for a Dubai visa?

Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.

Is working permitted?

Working on a tourist visa is prohibited. You can interview and explore opportunities, but employment needs a residence visa.
