Bulgaria passport and UAE entry rules
The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. Message us a photo of your Bulgaria passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm which rule applies before any payment is taken.
Dubai visa price for Bulgaria passport holders
These are our current prices for a Dubai visa on a Bulgaria passport, checked in September 2026:
- 30 days, single entry: AED 450
- 60 days, single entry: AED 650
- Multiple entry 30 day visa: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
No tourist visa shorter than 30 days is available. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.
Security deposits explained
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. It is separate from the visa price above, it is refunded after the visitor exits the UAE, and we will confirm on WhatsApp whether it applies to Bulgaria passports and how much it is.
Pay in monthly instalments
UAE residents applying for a family member or friend from Bulgaria can split the visa fee using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa
WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:
- Passport scan showing the front page and the back cover, valid for at least six months. A missing back cover is the most common reason an application is returned, so please include both.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
- If the applicant is a minor, a birth certificate. Certain passports additionally need a national ID card copy.
A bank statement covering six months is required for certain passports. Where Bulgaria citizens are affected, the statement of a family member living in the UAE is accepted. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.
Applying through a family member or friend in the UAE
If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Bulgaria traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.
Getting your Dubai visa in four steps
- Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133. We check them the same day and tell you which visa suits your travel dates.
- Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Processing starts only after documents are verified and payment is received.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Bulgaria passports usually takes 24 to 72 hours; immigration can sometimes extend this or ask for more paperwork.
- We forward the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Keep it with your passport for the airline counter and arrival immigration.
How long the Dubai visa is valid
You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. The 30 or 60 day stay is measured from entry, not from issuance. Choose single entry for a straightforward visit, or multiple entry if you plan to hop to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and come back. Employment is not permitted on a tourist visa.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
There is no grace period on a UAE tourist visa. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. We remind Bulgaria travellers on WhatsApp before the expiry date, giving you time to act.

Extending a Dubai visa for Bulgaria passport holders
Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. The maximum total stay is 120 days. At the 120 day point, a new visa requires an exit, which can be done by an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. Extension applications must be submitted before the current visa expires, so contact us with at least a week remaining.
Another route for Bulgaria passports
A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Bulgaria applicants.
How to keep your application on track
- No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
- Previous overstays, unpaid fines or improperly cancelled visas. Tell us about any past UAE history so we can advise honestly before you pay.
- Single name passports. If your Bulgaria passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
Frequently asked questions about Dubai visa for Bulgaria passport
What is the processing time?
Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.
What does the 30 day visa cost?
The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.
How much is a 60 day Dubai visa for Bulgaria passport holders?
The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.
Do I need to show a bank statement?
Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Bulgaria citizens on WhatsApp.
Can the visa be extended?
Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.
When do fines start?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Can I add my child to the application?
Yes. Children require an individual visa at the standard price. We need the passport, photo and birth certificate for each minor.
Does the tourist visa allow employment?
No. The visa is for visiting only. Taking up work requires an employment visa arranged by a UAE employer.
