Is a Dubai visa required for Colombia citizens?
A prearranged visa is the standard route for most travellers, and it is the product we issue for Colombia passports. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. Message us a photo of your Colombia passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm which rule applies before any payment is taken.
Dubai visa price for Colombia passport holders
Current Dubai visa pricing for Colombia citizens, verified September 2026:
- Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
- 60 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 650
- 30 days, multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. All visa fees, including our service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission.
Security deposits explained
For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. The deposit sits apart from the visa fee, is returned after you leave the UAE, and we confirm the amount for Colombia citizens on WhatsApp before booking.
Payment options
Residents of the UAE booking for Colombia visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
- A birth certificate for children under 18. Some nationalities must also provide a national ID copy.
Some nationalities may be asked for a six month bank statement, and where that applies to a Colombia passport a UAE based family member’s statement can be submitted on your behalf. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible.
Guarantor documents
If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Colombia traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. The sponsor’s bank statement can stand in for the applicant’s where one is required, but this applies to family members only, not friends.
Getting your Dubai visa in four steps
- Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We submit the application once documents and payment are in place.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Colombia passports usually takes 24 to 72 hours; immigration can sometimes extend this or ask for more paperwork.
- The approved visa arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp. Carry a printed or digital copy for the airline and for immigration on arrival.
Validity, entry and stay rules for Colombia visitors
Entry must take place within 60 days of issue, or the visa lapses. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. We send Colombia clients a reminder on WhatsApp before the visa expires so that you can extend or exit in time.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days
The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. The overall ceiling is 120 days of stay. When the extensions are used up, Colombia visitors must exit and return on a fresh visa, either by a same day flight or by the Oman bus route. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.
Sharjah visa option
We can also issue a Sharjah 60 day single entry visa for AED 1,200, which requires no security deposit. It is valid for the whole UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We will advise on WhatsApp whether this suits Colombia citizens better than the standard visa.
Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused
- No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
- Booking flights before the visa is approved without allowing enough processing time.
Colombia passport Dubai visa FAQ
How long does a Dubai visa take for a Colombia passport?
Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.
What does the 30 day visa cost?
For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.
Price of a two month visa?
For Colombia passports AED 650 single entry and AED 1,000 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 600 and AED 950.
Are financial documents needed?
Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Colombia citizens on WhatsApp.
Can the visa be extended?
Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.
When do fines start?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
Can I get my money back on refusal?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Can I add my child to the application?
Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.
Does the tourist visa allow employment?
No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
