We process the Dubai visa for Gambia citizens as a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa, available in single and multiple entry, with most approvals arriving in 24 to 72 hours. The 30 day visa starts at AED 450, four documents are enough for most applicants, and we handle every step on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Gambia traveller needs to know: cost, paperwork, timing, validity and what happens when the visa is about to expire.
Short version: four visa options for Gambia passports, from AED 450 for 30 days single entry to AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry, approved in 24 to 72 hours and valid for entry within 60 days of issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Do Gambia passport holders need a Dubai visa?
Unless a passport qualifies for visa on arrival, a prearranged tourist visa is required, and that is what we provide. A limited number of passports receive a visa on arrival at UAE airports, and the list changes from time to time. We confirm the current position for Gambia passports on WhatsApp so that nobody pays for a visa they do not need.
What a Dubai visa costs from Dubai
Current Dubai visa pricing for Gambia citizens, verified September 2026:
- Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
- 60 day single entry: AED 650
- Multiple entry 30 day visa: AED 800
- 60 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 1,000
The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. The visa fee is paid to immigration at submission and cannot be refunded if the application is declined.
Security deposits explained
For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. This is independent of the visa cost, refunded once you depart the UAE, and we tell Gambia applicants in advance whether one applies.
Spreading the cost
Residents of the UAE booking for Gambia visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

Dubai visa requirements for Gambia passport holders
WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:
- Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
- Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.
Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Gambia be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.
Applying through a family member or friend in the UAE
If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Gambia traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.
How Gambia citizens apply
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133. We review them within hours and recommend the right visa for your trip.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We submit the application once documents and payment are in place.
- We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Gambia applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
- Once approved, we send the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Show it at check in and at UAE immigration together with your passport.
Validity and duration of stay
Entry must take place within 60 days of issue, or the visa lapses. The stay period, 30 or 60 days, starts counting from your arrival date. With single entry you may arrive once; multiple entry permits several arrivals within the validity, ideal for regional itineraries that pass through Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.
Why the expiry date matters
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. We send Gambia clients a reminder on WhatsApp before the visa expires so that you can extend or exit in time.

Extending a Dubai visa for Gambia passport holders
A 30 day visa can be extended three times for 30 days each, and a 60 day visa twice for 30 days each, with no exit required. The overall ceiling is 120 days of stay. Once you reach the maximum, you must exit and re enter, either through an airport to airport visa change or by bus to Oman. Apply for the extension ahead of the expiry date, ideally a week before.
Sharjah visa option
An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. It works for the entire country, including Dubai. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Gambia applicants.
How to keep your application on track
- No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Poor quality scans. Make sure the whole page is visible and readable.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- Single name passports. If your Gambia passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
Questions Gambia travellers ask us
When will I receive my visa?
Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.
Price of a 30 day single entry visa?
For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.
What does the 60 day visa cost?
AED 650 single or AED 1,000 multiple entry, with the Indian and Filipino tariff at AED 600 and AED 950.
Is a bank statement required for a Gambia passport?
Some nationalities need a six month statement, others do not. A UAE family member’s statement can be used where required. Immigration may still ask for proof of funds at the airport. Ask us on WhatsApp about Gambia passports.
Can the visa be extended?
It can be extended in country: three times for a 30 day visa, twice for a 60 day visa, 30 days each, with a 120 day ceiling. After that, exit and re enter on a new visa.
When do fines start?
None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.
Can I get my money back on refusal?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Can children from Gambia apply for a Dubai visa?
Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.
Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?
Working on a tourist visa is prohibited. You can interview and explore opportunities, but employment needs a residence visa.
