Is a Dubai visa required for Samoa citizens?
A prearranged visa is the standard route for most travellers, and it is the product we issue for Samoa passports. A limited number of passports receive a visa on arrival at UAE airports, and the list changes from time to time. Message us a photo of your Samoa passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm which rule applies before any payment is taken.
Samoa passport Dubai visa fees
Here is the September 2026 price list for Samoa passport holders:
- 30 day single entry: AED 450
- 60 days, single entry: AED 650
- 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. All visa fees, including our service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission.
Security deposits explained
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. This is independent of the visa cost, refunded once you depart the UAE, and we tell Samoa applicants in advance whether one applies.
Pay in monthly instalments
Residents of the UAE booking for Samoa visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
- A birth certificate for children under 18. Some nationalities must also provide a national ID copy.
A bank statement covering six months is required for certain passports. Where Samoa citizens are affected, the statement of a family member living in the UAE is accepted. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible.
If a UAE resident is sponsoring you
When a UAE resident applies on behalf of a Samoa visitor, we also need the sponsor’s passport copy valid for six months, residence visa page valid for six months, Emirates ID front and back, and the guarantee form completed at applyvisa.app. The sponsor’s bank statement can stand in for the applicant’s where one is required, but this applies to family members only, not friends.
The application process step by step
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
- Make the payment through the link we send. The application goes to immigration as soon as payment clears and documents are approved.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Samoa citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- Once approved, we send the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Show it at check in and at UAE immigration together with your passport.
Validity, entry and stay rules for Samoa visitors
You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. The 30 or 60 day stay is measured from entry, not from issuance. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.
What happens if you overstay
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. A WhatsApp reminder from us before expiry helps Samoa visitors avoid fines.

Extending a Dubai visa for Samoa passport holders
A 30 day visa can be extended three times for 30 days each, and a 60 day visa twice for 30 days each, with no exit required. Combined stay is capped at 120 days. Once you reach the maximum, you must exit and re enter, either through an airport to airport visa change or by bus to Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.
An alternative issued through Sharjah
We can also issue a Sharjah 60 day single entry visa for AED 1,200, which requires no security deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Samoa applicants.
How to keep your application on track
- Leaving out the back cover, which immigration requires alongside the data page.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Poor quality scans. Make sure the whole page is visible and readable.
- Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
- A passport with a single name and no document showing a full name, which immigration cannot process.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
Questions Samoa travellers ask us
How long does a Dubai visa take for a Samoa passport?
Most applications are approved within 24 to 72 hours. Processing time is decided by immigration and can be longer if additional documents are requested, so apply at least three working days before travel.
Price of a 30 day single entry visa?
AED 450 for single entry and AED 800 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 400 and AED 750. A refundable deposit may apply for some nationalities and is confirmed on WhatsApp.
Price of a two month visa?
AED 650 for single entry and AED 1,000 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 600 and AED 950.
Will immigration ask for proof of funds?
It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for Samoa passports.
Can the visa be extended?
Yes, without exit. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each, capped at 120 days total. Beyond that, an exit and re entry is required. Apply before the visa expires.
Are there any grace days?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?
No. Visa fees, including the service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission. You may reapply after addressing the reason for refusal.
Can children from Samoa apply for a Dubai visa?
Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.
Does the tourist visa allow employment?
No. The visa is for visiting only. Taking up work requires an employment visa arranged by a UAE employer.
