Is a Dubai visa required for Trinidad and Tobago citizens?
A prearranged visa is the standard route for most travellers, and it is the product we issue for Trinidad and Tobago passports. A limited number of passports receive a visa on arrival at UAE airports, and the list changes from time to time. To be certain about the current rule for Trinidad and Tobago citizens, WhatsApp us your passport page and we will check it at no cost.
Dubai visa price for Trinidad and Tobago passport holders
Here is the September 2026 price list for Trinidad and Tobago passport holders:
- 30 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 450
- 60 day single entry: AED 650
- 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.
Security deposits explained
Some passports are asked for a refundable security deposit. This is independent of the visa cost, refunded once you depart the UAE, and we tell Trinidad and Tobago applicants in advance whether one applies.
Spreading the cost
UAE residents applying for a family member or friend from Trinidad and Tobago can split the visa fee using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

What Trinidad and Tobago citizens need to send us
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
- Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.
A bank statement covering six months is required for certain passports. Where Trinidad and Tobago citizens are affected, the statement of a family member living in the UAE is accepted. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.
Guarantor documents
If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Trinidad and Tobago traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.
The application process step by step
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
- Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Trinidad and Tobago passports usually takes 24 to 72 hours; immigration can sometimes extend this or ask for more paperwork.
- We forward the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Keep it with your passport for the airline counter and arrival immigration.
Key dates to remember
Entry must take place within 60 days of issue, or the visa lapses. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. A WhatsApp reminder from us before expiry helps Trinidad and Tobago visitors avoid fines.

Extending a Dubai visa for Trinidad and Tobago passport holders
The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. Combined stay is capped at 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. Apply for the extension ahead of the expiry date, ideally a week before.
An alternative issued through Sharjah
An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. Message us and we will compare both routes for your Trinidad and Tobago passport.
Why applications get held up
- Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
Trinidad and Tobago passport Dubai visa FAQ
How many days until approval?
Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.
How much is a 30 day Dubai visa for Trinidad and Tobago citizens?
AED 450 for single entry and AED 800 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 400 and AED 750. A refundable deposit may apply for some nationalities and is confirmed on WhatsApp.
What does the 60 day visa cost?
The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.
Do I need to show a bank statement?
Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Trinidad and Tobago citizens on WhatsApp.
Is in country extension possible?
It can be extended in country: three times for a 30 day visa, twice for a 60 day visa, 30 days each, with a 120 day ceiling. After that, exit and re enter on a new visa.
Are there any grace days?
None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.
What if immigration refuses my Dubai visa?
No refund applies on refusal, since immigration retains the processing charge. You can apply again once the problem is addressed.
What about children on Trinidad and Tobago passports?
Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.
Can I look for a job on this visa?
No. The visa is for visiting only. Taking up work requires an employment visa arranged by a UAE employer.
