If you hold a Kyrgyzstan passport and your UAE visit visa is close to expiry, a a2a visa change is the quickest legal route to a fresh 60 day tourist visa. We take care of the flydubai booking, the visa submission and the timing, so Kyrgyzstan travellers spend the least possible time away from Dubai.
The essentials for Kyrgyzstan passport holders: AED 1,550 all in, a same day flydubai rotation from Dubai Terminal 2, and a 60 day single entry visa issued while you wait at the transit airport.
Looking to extend your stay in the UAE?
Let White Sky Travel help you process an airport visa change from a tourist visa, cancelled residence visa, or current visa on-arrival.
How a a2a visa change works
At its core, a a2a visa change is a short trip out of the country so that a new visa can be issued. Because the new permit can only be granted to someone who is outside the UAE, Kyrgyzstan citizens must exit before the visa is approved. Air travel is the most efficient way to complete the exit. The typical route runs from Dubai International Terminal 2 to Muscat, Kuwait or Doha, with a return the same day.
Some visitors choose the Oman bus route instead, though it is slower and involves sleeping near the border crossing. Flying is the more expensive choice, but it is faster and far more comfortable for Kyrgyzstan families, older passengers and busy professionals.
Situations where Kyrgyzstan citizens need a a2a visa change
Most 30 day and 60 day UAE visit visas can now be extended from inside the country, so a a2a visa change is not always necessary. Here is when it becomes the right choice for a Kyrgyzstan passport holder:
- You have reached the 120 day ceiling after extending a 30 day visa three times or a 60 day visa twice.
- You are on a cancelled residence visa and want to stay on as a visitor while you find a new job. A a2a visa change gives you a 60 day tourist visa.
- Your visa has already expired. Extensions must be filed before expiry, so once the date has passed the practical solution is to settle the fine and exit through a a2a visa change.
- You hold a permit that is not extendable from inside the UAE. Send us a photo of your visa on WhatsApp and we will advise the correct route for a Kyrgyzstan passport.
Overstay fines and why you should book early
An expired visa attracts a fine of AED 50 per day, and that figure is the same for every visa category and every emirate. Tourist and visit visas carry no grace period, which means fines begin immediately after the expiry date. Overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit, usually AED 250 to 300, on top of the daily fine. The price does not change with urgency, which is why we suggest starting the process with at least 10 to 15 days remaining.

Price of a a2a visa change on a Kyrgyzstan passport
At White Sky Travel a a2a visa change costs AED 1,550 and includes the flydubai return ticket and a 60 day single entry tourist visa. There is one rate for both tourist visa renewals and residence cancellation cases. The amount includes the flight, the government visa fee and our support throughout the day.
- Visa type: 60 days, single entry
- Flight included: flydubai round trip from Dubai Terminal 2
- Delivery: approved visa PDF on WhatsApp, usually before your return flight
- Assistance: WhatsApp support throughout, including on the day of travel
- Cost: AED 1,550 for each adult passenger
We do not offer a 30 day a2a visa change. A 30 day visa costs nearly the same to process and gives you half the time, so the 60 day option is better value in every case we see. A surcharge of AED 100 applies to a small number of nationalities that require additional processing, and we will tell you before you pay whether a Kyrgyzstan passport is affected. Any overstay fine is settled by you at immigration before you fly and is separate from our fee.
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. It is separate from the visa price, it is returned after you exit the UAE at the end of your stay, and we confirm the amount for Kyrgyzstan passports on WhatsApp before you pay anything.
Spread the cost
Residents of the UAE who book on behalf of Kyrgyzstan visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp.
Documents required for a Kyrgyzstan passport
Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:
- A clear scan of your Kyrgyzstan passport, both the data page and the back cover. Missing back covers cause most resubmissions.
- A passport valid for six months or more from the date of travel, in good condition with two blank pages.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- The existing tourist visa PDF or, for cancelled residents, the cancellation document.
Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Kyrgyzstan applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. Please also carry a card or some cash on the return flight, since immigration can ask arriving visitors to show proof of funds. Please complete the guarantee form at applyvisa.app once we confirm your booking.
What happens on the day
Three to five days ahead
We lock in the flight, forward the ticket on WhatsApp and check that any outstanding fines have been paid online. Travellers whose visa is still valid pay nothing at immigration. Book for Monday to Thursday if you can, as a Friday delay can stretch over the weekend.
Departure from Dubai
Plan to be at Dubai Terminal 2 five hours before the flight, check in and receive boarding passes for both sectors. Send us a picture of each boarding pass on WhatsApp straight away. Immigration then stamps you out, which formally ends your current visa, and the moment your exit registers we submit your new visa application.
While you wait abroad
The hop to Muscat, Kuwait or Doha takes close to an hour. Because you do not leave the airport, Kyrgyzstan passport holders need no visa for the transit country. Most applications clear within a few hours, and the approved visa reaches your WhatsApp as a PDF. Occasionally immigration orders a security check, extending the wait to 24 to 48 hours. You can remain at the airport and we will monitor the status with you.
Arrival at Terminal 2
If we have already sent the PDF, go straight to the eGate at Terminal 2. Should the visa still be pending on landing, avoid the eGate, use the manual counters and wait in the Terminal 2 holding area until we confirm. The visa clock starts on the date of re entry.
A2A versus extension versus bus
Where an extension is still possible, take it: the in country option costs AED 1,200 for 30 days and requires no flight. A a2a visa change steps in when extension ends, and it gives 60 days instead of 30. The bus to Oman costs less, from AED 1,000 for residence cancellation and AED 1,400 to 1,500 for visit visa holders, but it takes a day or two and includes a night away. For the majority of travellers from Kyrgyzstan, the a2a visa change is the more comfortable and predictable route.

Common problems for Kyrgyzstan applicants and how we prevent them
- Leaving it to the last minute. Seats disappear around Eid, December and January, so contact us a week or more in advance.
- A passport expiring within six months. Renew it before attempting a a2a visa change.
- Name mismatch. The name on the ticket must match the Kyrgyzstan passport exactly, including middle names.
- Unpaid fines. Immigration will not let you board with outstanding overstay fines, so check and pay through the GDRFA or ICP app before you reach the airport.
- Assuming a grace period. There is none, so a visa expiring on the 10th must be extended or exited by the 10th.
- Past visa violations. Be open with us so that we can advise whether a a2a visa change is likely to succeed.
Kyrgyzstan passport a2a visa change FAQ
How long will I be away from Dubai?
Typically six to twelve hours from departure to re entry. Some applications need 24 to 48 hours if immigration orders a security check, and the airline allows you to wait at the airport in that case.
How many times can a Kyrgyzstan citizen do a a2a visa change?
You may repeat it, but approval is never automatic and repeated changes are scrutinised. One or two is typical.
Is a a2a visa change possible for cancelled residents?
Yes, and it is the situation we see most often. Once you have the cancellation paper, we process a 60 day tourist visa for AED 1,550.
What is the destination?
The destination is usually Muscat, though Kuwait City and Doha are also used. All three allow a same day turnaround.
Is a transit visa required?
No. You remain airside at the transit airport, so no visa for that country is needed.
What about children on Kyrgyzstan passports?
Yes. Children require individual tickets and visas, and we prepare a single quote for the whole family.
What happens on rejection?
Refusals are rare. If immigration declines, you cannot re enter the UAE on the return flight and would need to travel onward. Visa processing fees are not refundable because they cover government costs, which is why we assess risk factors such as previous overstays or bans before you pay.
Is it lawful to do this?
Yes. It is a standard immigration process: you exit on your old visa and enter on a new one issued by UAE authorities. Always use a licensed agency so the visa is applied through official channels.
