For travellers from Peru, a a2a visa change means leaving the UAE on a short flight and coming back the same day with a brand new 60 day tourist visa. We arrange the flydubai return ticket, submit the visa application the moment your exit registers, and stay on WhatsApp with you until you clear immigration in Dubai.
In short: Peru passport holders pay AED 1,550 for a a2a visa change, which covers the return flight from Dubai, the 60 day single entry visa and our coordination, with most travellers back in Dubai within six to twelve hours.
Looking to extend your stay in the UAE?
Let White Sky Travel help you process an airport visa change from a tourist visa, cancelled residence visa, or current visa on-arrival.
How a a2a visa change works
At its core, a a2a visa change is a short trip out of the country so that a new visa can be issued. Immigration only links a new visa to a Peru passport once the holder has left the UAE, which is why the flight is essential. A short flight is the quickest way to meet that condition. From Dubai you would normally fly to Muscat, Kuwait City or Doha and return to Terminal 2 within six to twelve hours.
A bus visa change through Oman exists as well, but it costs a night away and a much longer day. A a2a visa change costs more than the bus, yet it saves a day and suits families, older travellers and anyone with work or school commitments in Dubai.
When Peru passport holders need a a2a visa change
A a2a visa change is a fallback, because the UAE allows visit visa extension without exit in many cases. You will need a a2a visa change on a Peru passport if any of the following applies:
- Your extensions are exhausted: three for a 30 day visa, two for a 60 day visa, with 120 days as the overall limit.
- Your UAE residence visa has been cancelled. A cancelled residency cannot be extended, so we convert your status to a 60 day tourist visa through a a2a visa change.
- Your visa expired before you applied for an extension. In that case you pay the overstay fine and exit on a a2a visa change.
- You hold a permit that is not extendable from inside the UAE. Send us a photo of your visa on WhatsApp and we will advise the correct route for a Peru passport.
The 2026 rule every Peru visitor should know
Every day past expiry costs AED 50 in fines, whichever emirate issued the visa and whichever visa type you hold. There is no grace period on tourist and visit visas, so the fine starts the day after expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit, usually AED 250 to 300, on top of the daily fine. The price does not change with urgency, which is why we suggest starting the process with at least 10 to 15 days remaining.

a2a visa change cost from Dubai for Peru citizens
The package for Peru passport holders is straightforward: AED 1,550 for a 60 day single entry visa and the return flight on flydubai. Tourist visa holders and cancelled residents pay an identical amount. That figure pays for the flydubai ticket, the visa itself and our coordination on travel day.
- What you receive: a 60 day single entry tourist visa for the UAE
- Flight: flydubai return ticket from Dubai Terminal 2 to Muscat, Kuwait City or Doha
- Visa delivery: PDF sent to you on WhatsApp once immigration approves
- Support: live WhatsApp contact from document check to arrival in Dubai
- Rate: AED 1,550 per person
A 30 day a2a visa change is not available through us because the processing cost is similar and the value is poorer than the 60 day visa. An AED 100 supplement applies to certain passports that need extra processing time. Ask us whether Peru is on that list before you book. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller at the immigration desk before departure and are not part of the package.
Some Peru applicants may need to place a refundable security deposit. It is independent of the visa price, is returned after you exit the country, and we state the amount clearly on WhatsApp first.
Spread the cost
If you are a UAE resident arranging a a2a visa change for a relative or friend holding a Peru passport, you can pay through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link.
a2a visa change documents for Peru passport holders
WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:
- Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
- Passport validity of at least six months from the planned travel date, with at least two blank pages and no damage.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background, no more than six months old.
- The existing tourist visa PDF or, for cancelled residents, the cancellation document.
Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Peru be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand. Before the flight we will send you a link to the guarantee form at applyvisa.app, which takes a few minutes to complete.
How the day unfolds for a Peru passport holder
The day before you fly
We confirm your flydubai flight, share the ticket and remind you to settle any overstay fine through the GDRFA or ICP app. If you are within your visa validity, the airport stage costs nothing extra. We always advise Peru travellers to fly Monday to Thursday, because a Friday departure that hits a delay can mean waiting through the Saturday and Sunday weekend.
Check in and exit at Dubai Terminal 2
Arrive at Dubai International Terminal 2 around five hours before departure, check in at the flydubai counter and collect both boarding passes. Photograph both passes and send them to us on WhatsApp. Once immigration records your exit, your old visa closes and we file the new application immediately.
In Muscat, Kuwait or Doha
The flight takes around one hour. You remain in the transit area and do not need to clear immigration in Oman, Kuwait or Qatar for a same day return. Approval usually arrives within hours, and you receive the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Occasionally immigration orders a security check, extending the wait to 24 to 48 hours. You can remain at the airport and we will monitor the status with you.
Arrival at Terminal 2
Holding the approved PDF, you may pass through the Terminal 2 eGate. Should the visa still be pending on landing, avoid the eGate, use the manual counters and wait in the Terminal 2 holding area until we confirm. Your 60 days begin on the entry date.
Should Peru travellers extend, fly or take the bus?
Where an extension is still possible, take it: the in country option costs AED 1,200 for 30 days and requires no flight. When you can no longer extend, a a2a visa change provides twice the stay of an extension for AED 1,550. The Dubai to Oman bus is the budget option, starting from AED 1,000 for cancelled residents and AED 1,400 to 1,500 for visit visa holders, but it takes one to two days with an overnight stay. For the majority of travellers from Peru, the a2a visa change is the more comfortable and predictable route.

Why applications get delayed
- Waiting until the final days. Peak periods such as Eid, December and January fill flights quickly.
- Passport validity under six months. Renew before you travel, as immigration will not issue a visa against a short validity passport.
- Mismatched names between ticket and passport, which airlines and immigration treat seriously.
- Outstanding fines. Clear them in the GDRFA or ICP app before travel, or you will be stopped at immigration.
- Expecting extra days after expiry. The UAE gives visitors none, so plan around the exact date.
- Previous immigration issues. Old bans, unresolved cases or improperly cancelled visas can affect approval, so tell us about them before you pay.
Answers for Peru citizens
How many hours does the process take?
Six to twelve hours is normal. Security checks occasionally push it to 24 to 48 hours, and you can wait at the airport throughout.
Is there a limit on repeat visa changes?
The rules set no maximum, but each new visa is a fresh decision by immigration, and consecutive changes are looked at more carefully.
My residency was cancelled. Can I still apply?
Yes. Send the cancellation document and we handle the change to a 60 day tourist visa for the same flat price.
Where does the flight go?
The destination is usually Muscat, though Kuwait City and Doha are also used. All three allow a same day turnaround.
Is a transit visa required?
No. For a same day return you stay in the international transit area and do not pass through the other country’s immigration.
Is there a family option?
Yes. WhatsApp us all the passports and we will send one price for the family.
Is a refund possible if immigration refuses?
Very few applications are refused. If yours is, the return to Dubai is not possible and onward travel is required. Government visa fees cannot be refunded, so we review your history carefully first.
Is this an official process?
Yes. You leave on the current visa and return on a new one granted by UAE immigration. Using a licensed agency keeps the application within official channels.
