What happens on the day

Departure from Dubai

Departure is in the morning from the agreed pick up point in Dubai. Immigration records your exit at the UAE side, closing the old visa, and we file the new visa application immediately after. You clear Omani immigration on the prearranged eVisa.

On the Omani side

Approval usually takes a few hours, after which you receive the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Occasionally immigration orders a security check, extending the wait to 24 to 48 hours. The one day stay option exists for exactly this situation. Approval is always at the discretion of UAE immigration.

Back into the UAE

Once the PDF is in hand, you take the coach back and show the new visa alongside your Greece passport at UAE immigration. The visa clock starts on the date you come back into the UAE. The trip ends in Dubai the same evening unless you added the overnight stay.

Why bus visa changes get delayed

Booking too late. The coach runs Sunday to Wednesday only and seats fill quickly around Eid, December and January, so message us 7 to 10 days ahead.
Passport validity under six months. Renew before you travel, as neither Oman nor UAE immigration will accept a short validity passport.
Unpaid overstay fines. Immigration will not let you exit with fines outstanding, so check and pay through the GDRFA or ICP app before travel day.
Assuming a grace period. There is none, so a visa expiring on the 10th must be extended or exited by the 10th.
Previous immigration issues. Old bans, unresolved cases or improperly cancelled visas can affect approval, so tell us about them before you pay.
Travelling without the physical passport. Both borders require the original document.

Refusals are rare. If immigration declines, you cannot re enter the UAE on the return coach and would need to travel onward from Oman. Visa processing fees are not refundable because they cover government costs, which is why we assess risk factors such as previous overstays or bans before you pay.

Are visa changes by road allowed?
