Grenada passport Bus visa change from Dubai to Oman

A Bus visa change to Oman is the most economical route for Grenada passport holders who need to exit the UAE and come back on a new tourist visa. White Sky Travel bundles the coach both ways, the Oman visa, the UAE visa application and the border fees into a single price from AED 1,000. Here is everything a Grenada passport holder needs to know before booking: price, schedule, documents and the border procedure.

In short: Grenada passport holders pay AED 1,000 (cancelled residence or on arrival visa) or AED 1,300 (tourist visa) for a Bus visa change to Oman. The price covers the coach both ways, the Oman visa, the new UAE visa and border fees. Departures run Sunday to Wednesday and the trip takes roughly a day.

Planning to extend your stay in the UAE?

Check our visa renewal by bus service, including the UAE visa, border fees, Oman visa, two way bus fare, and accommodation until your visa is approved. Monthly payment is available with Tabby, Tamara, and UAE credit cards up to 12 months.

What is a Bus visa change to Oman?

A Bus visa change is simply a border run by coach. Immigration only links a new visa to a Grenada passport once the holder has left the UAE, which is why the trip to Oman is essential. The coach takes you from Dubai to the Oman crossing, you enter Oman on the visa we arranged, the new UAE visa is processed, and you come back through the same checkpoint. Most travellers complete the round trip within a day, with an optional one day stay in Oman for those who prefer it or whose approval takes longer.

The faster alternative is the airport to airport visa change, which flies you to Muscat, Kuwait or Doha and back within hours for AED 1,550. For Grenada citizens who value price over speed, the Bus visa change is the better fit.

Is a Bus visa change available for Grenada citizens?

Availability of the Bus visa change depends on the nationality of the passport and the type of visa currently held. Send us a photo of your Grenada passport and current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether the bus route is open to you, or whether the airport route or an in country extension is the better option. It is most commonly used by:

  • Tourist visa holders who have used all their in country extensions. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days; after that, an exit is required.
  • Anyone holding a residence cancellation paper who needs more time in the UAE.
  • Travellers who entered on a visa on arrival and want a new tourist visa without flying home.

Do not wait until the last day

The overstay fine in the UAE is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly to tourist, visit and residence visas in every emirate. Visitors do not receive any grace days, and the fine runs from the first day of overstay. Unpaid fines block the exit, so they must be cleared before travel day. With departures limited to Sunday through Wednesday, Grenada passport holders should book 7 to 10 days ahead of expiry.

What the Bus visa change package costs

Our Bus visa change package is priced by the visa you currently hold, not by nationality, although a refundable deposit or surcharge may apply for some passports.

  • AED 1,000 for cancelled residents and on arrival visa holders
  • Tourist visa holders: AED 1,300

Included in both: return coach, Oman visa, UAE visa processing and border fees. The standard product is a 60 day single entry UAE tourist visa; ask us on WhatsApp if a 30 day option is available on your travel date. An optional one day stay in Oman can be added for travellers who prefer a night across the border or whose approval runs into the evening. If you have overstayed, the fine is paid to immigration and is not included in the AED 1,000 or AED 1,300.

A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. It is separate from the package price, it is refunded after you exit the UAE at the end of your stay, and we confirm the amount for Grenada passports on WhatsApp before you pay anything.

Instalment options

UAE residents booking a Bus visa change for a family member or friend from Grenada can spread the cost using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

What Grenada citizens need to send us

Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:

  1. Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. A copy of the visa you are on now: tourist visa, arrival stamp, or the official cancellation paper if your residency was cancelled.
  4. Your local contact number and address for the pick up details.

Some nationalities may be asked for a six month bank statement, and where that applies to a Grenada passport a UAE based family member’s statement can be submitted on your behalf. We apply for your Oman visa through the official eVisa system in advance, so you do not need to arrange anything with Omani immigration yourself. Bring your original passport and a bank card or cash, as immigration can request proof of funds when you re enter.

The Dubai to Oman Bus visa change process

Booking stage

After verification and payment we lodge the Oman eVisa, book your coach seat and send the pick up location and time on WhatsApp. If you have overstayed, settle the fine through the GDRFA or ICP app before travel day.

The outbound leg

Departure is in the morning from the agreed pick up point in Dubai. Immigration records your exit at the UAE side, closing the old visa, and we file the new visa application immediately after. You clear Omani immigration on the prearranged eVisa.

Waiting in Oman

Most Grenada applications clear within a few hours, and the approved visa reaches your phone as a PDF. Should a security check be triggered, expect 24 to 48 hours. We arrange the overnight stay and monitor the status with you. Immigration makes the final call on every application.

Returning to Dubai

You return through the same border, presenting the visa PDF and your Grenada passport. Immigration links the visa to your passport and your 60 days begin on the entry date. The coach drops you back in Dubai the same evening, or the next day if you took the overnight option.

Bus versus airport versus extension

An in country extension at AED 1,200 for 30 days is the simplest route if you are still eligible. With no extension left, the Bus visa change offers the lowest price for a new 60 day visa, if a day on the road and midweek travel suit you. The flight option costs AED 1,550, operates daily and is back in Dubai in six to twelve hours, ideal for Grenada travellers with work or school commitments.

What can go wrong and how to avoid it

  • Waiting until the final days. Sunday to Wednesday departures leave little room for error, so book a week or more ahead.
  • Less than six months on the passport. Both borders refuse entry in that case, so renew first.
  • Unpaid overstay fines. Immigration will not let you exit with fines outstanding, so check and pay through the GDRFA or ICP app before travel day.
  • Believing there is a buffer. There is not, and fines start the day after expiry.
  • Undisclosed history. Prior overstays, bans or uncancelled visas can lead to refusal, so share them with us upfront.
  • Leaving the passport behind. It must be with you on the coach.

Questions Grenada travellers ask us

How long does a Bus visa change to Oman take for a Grenada passport?

About one day, including the coach journey, border formalities and the wait for visa approval. If immigration orders a security check, approval can take 24 to 48 hours, and the optional one day stay in Oman covers that.

Bus visa change price for a Grenada passport?

The package costs AED 1,000 if you hold a cancellation paper or arrival stamp and AED 1,300 if you are on a tourist visa. Coach, Oman visa, UAE visa and border fees are included. Some nationalities may need a refundable deposit.

What is the schedule?

Midweek only: Sunday to Wednesday. Book 7 to 10 days ahead to secure a seat before your visa runs out.

Do Grenada passport holders need an Oman visa for the trip?

An Oman visa is required for the crossing and we handle the eVisa application for Grenada passports as part of the service.

My residency was cancelled. Can I take the bus?

Absolutely. Cancelled residents from Grenada use the bus route at AED 1,000 and return on a 60 day tourist visa.

Can I do this more than once?

There is no fixed limit, but every application is assessed on its own and repeated back to back changes attract closer scrutiny. Most of our clients do one or two before moving to a residence visa or leaving the UAE.

What if my visa is not approved while I am in Oman?

Very few applications are refused. If yours is, the return to the UAE is not possible and onward travel from Oman is required. Government visa fees cannot be refunded, so we review your history carefully first.

Is it lawful to do this?

Yes, completely. It follows standard immigration procedure, and a licensed agency such as ours submits the application through the proper system.
