Belarus passport Visa extension: fees, rules and process

If you hold a Belarus passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Belarus traveller needs to know before applying: fees, limits, deadlines, paperwork and the alternatives when extension is no longer possible.

In short: Belarus passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.

Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

Visa extension explained for Belarus travellers

Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. Immigration processes the extension under the original issuer’s account and records the new expiry against your Belarus passport. Nothing physical happens on your side; you continue your visit and we send the approved extension on WhatsApp.

This is different from an airport to airport visa change or a visa change by bus to Oman, both of which involve leaving the UAE and returning on a completely new tourist visa. For Belarus visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.

Is a Visa extension available for Belarus citizens?

Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Belarus citizens before you pay anything.

  • Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
  • Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
  • Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.

If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

How much does a Visa extension cost?

A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Belarus included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.

  • 30 day extension: AED 1,200
  • 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals

This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Belarus visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.

Pay in monthly instalments

If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Belarus passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.

What Belarus citizens need to send us

Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:

  1. A clear copy of your Belarus passport, valid for at least six months.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.

Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Belarus passport.

The application process step by step

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
  2. Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
  3. The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Belarus applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
  4. You receive the approved extension as a PDF on WhatsApp showing the new expiry date. Keep it with your passport for the rest of your stay.

The five to seven day rule for Belarus visitors

An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

Options for Belarus visitors after 120 days

The 120 day ceiling is absolute; after it, every Belarus visitor has to exit. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Belarus travellers on WhatsApp.

Common problems for Belarus applicants and how we prevent them

  • Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
  • Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
  • Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
  • A passport expiring soon. Renew it before applying.
  • Expecting an on arrival stamp to be extendable. It is not; a visa change is required instead.

Belarus passport Visa extension FAQ

Can Belarus passport holders extend in country?

Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.

What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?

AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Belarus citizens.

How many days until approval?

Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.

How many extensions are allowed?

A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days. The maximum continuous stay on any UAE tourist visa is 120 days, after which exit is mandatory.

Who can process my extension?

The same agency rule applies to every nationality, Belarus included. If we did not issue the visa, we cannot extend it, but we can reset you on a new 60 day visa by air (AED 1,550) or bus (from AED 1,000).

Is there a grace period after my visa expires?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Can I extend visas for my family together?

Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.

What if my extension is refused?

Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
