- Apply for your Visa extension with White Sky Travel
If you hold a Croatia passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. Read on for the rules that apply to Croatia passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.
Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Croatia passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
The meaning of Visa extension for Croatia passport holders
Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Croatia passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. Wherever a Croatia citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.
Who qualifies
Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Croatia citizens before you pay anything.
- Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.
Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

Visa extension fees for Croatia passport holders
The Visa extension fee is AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, and the price is the same for every nationality, including Croatia.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)
The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Croatia travellers.
Pay in monthly instalments
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Croatia passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.
Documents required for a Visa extension on a Croatia passport
The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:
- A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Croatia passport.
How to apply for a Visa extension from Croatia
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
- Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
- The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Croatia applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
Do not wait until the last day
Applications are only accepted while the visa is still valid. Once it expires, extension is no longer possible. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. Back to back extensions should each be filed a few days before the running expiry, always within the 120 day cap.
Overstay rules in 2026
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Croatia passports.

What to do after the maximum extensions
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. Either exit route resets you on a new 60 day visa, and the same agency rule does not apply to them.
How to keep your application on track
- Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
- A passport expiring soon. Renew it before applying.
- Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.
Croatia passport Visa extension FAQ
Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Croatia passport?
Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
The extension fee is AED 1,200 for 30 days and AED 2,400 for 60 days (two back to back extensions), identical for all passports including Croatia.
What is the processing time?
Typically two to three working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Immigration can take longer in some cases, which is why a five to seven day lead time is recommended.
How many extensions are allowed?
Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.
Who can process my extension?
Extensions go through the issuer’s account, so a visa from another agency must be extended by them. Alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change or the Oman bus, neither of which depends on who issued the first visa.
When do fines start?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Is there a family extension option?
Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.
What if my extension is refused?
Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
