Visa extension without exit for Ecuador passport holders

When a Ecuador citizen wants more time in the UAE, a Visa extension adds 30 days to the current visit visa from inside the country. The fee is AED 1,200 for each 30 day extension, approval normally arrives in two to three working days, and everything is handled on WhatsApp. This page explains who qualifies, what a Ecuador passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Ecuador passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

What is a Visa extension without exit?

A Visa extension is an extension of the current permit; the visa number stays the same and the expiry date moves forward by 30 days. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Ecuador passport. Nothing physical happens on your side; you continue your visit and we send the approved extension on WhatsApp.

Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. Wherever a Ecuador citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.

Who qualifies

A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. WhatsApp us your visa copy and we will tell you straight away if an extension is possible for a Ecuador passport or if you need a visa change instead.

  • Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
  • Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
  • Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.

Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

How much does a Visa extension cost?

We charge AED 1,200 for every 30 day extension regardless of nationality, so Ecuador citizens pay exactly this figure.

  • A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
  • Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps

The fee covers the government charge and our processing, and it is not refundable if immigration declines the extension, because the government fee is paid at submission. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Ecuador passport.

Spreading the cost

For UAE residents applying on behalf of Ecuador family or friends, the AED 1,200 can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.

Paperwork for a Visa extension

Since immigration already has your file from the original visa, an extension needs only a few items. WhatsApp us:

  1. A clear copy of your Ecuador passport, valid for at least six months.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.

Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Ecuador passport.

How Ecuador citizens apply

  1. Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 with at least five to seven days remaining, and we confirm the same day.
  2. Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Ecuador citizens is two to three working days.
  4. We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.

Do not wait until the last day

The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. We ask Ecuador travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. Back to back extensions should each be filed a few days before the running expiry, always within the 120 day cap.

Why the expiry date is final

Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

When extension is no longer possible

When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
  • Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
  • Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
  • Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
  • Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.

Answers for Ecuador citizens

Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Ecuador passport?

Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.

What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?

AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Ecuador. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.

When will I receive the extension?

Expect two to three working days for a Ecuador passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.

Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?

The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.

Who can process my extension?

The same agency rule applies to every nationality, Ecuador included. If we did not issue the visa, we cannot extend it, but we can reset you on a new 60 day visa by air (AED 1,550) or bus (from AED 1,000).

Can I stay a few days after expiry?

There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.

Can I extend visas for my family together?

Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.

What if my extension is refused?

Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Ecuador applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
