When a Fiji citizen wants more time in the UAE, a Visa extension adds 30 days to the current visit visa from inside the country. We process the extension for AED 1,200 per 30 day block, usually within two to three working days, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Fiji citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Fiji passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Visa extension explained for Fiji travellers
A Visa extension is an extension of the current permit; the visa number stays the same and the expiry date moves forward by 30 days. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Fiji passport. Nothing physical happens on your side; you continue your visit and we send the approved extension on WhatsApp.
It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. If a Fiji passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.
Eligibility for Fiji passport holders
Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. WhatsApp us your visa copy and we will tell you straight away if an extension is possible for a Fiji passport or if you need a visa change instead.
- Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
- Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Fiji citizens
We charge AED 1,200 for every 30 day extension regardless of nationality, so Fiji citizens pay exactly this figure.
- A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
- Two month visa extension: AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions
The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Fiji passport.
Payment options
Residents of the UAE booking for Fiji visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.
Paperwork for a Visa extension
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- A clear copy of your Fiji passport, valid for at least six months.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Fiji passport.
How Fiji citizens apply
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Fiji passport can be extended.
- Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Fiji passports usually takes two to three working days; immigration can sometimes extend this.
- You receive the approved extension as a PDF on WhatsApp showing the new expiry date. Keep it with your passport for the rest of your stay.
The five to seven day rule for Fiji visitors
Applications are only accepted while the visa is still valid. Once it expires, extension is no longer possible. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Fiji visitors from missing the deadline. Back to back extensions should each be filed a few days before the running expiry, always within the 120 day cap.
Overstay rules in 2026
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. If your visa has already expired, extension is off the table; the practical route is to pay the fine and exit through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman, and we can arrange either.

Reaching the 120 day limit
Once a Fiji visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.
How to keep your application on track
- Leaving it to the last day. An expired visa cannot be extended, so allow a week.
- Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
- Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
- A passport expiring soon. Renew it before applying.
- Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.
Questions Fiji travellers ask us
Is extension without exit possible for Fiji citizens?
Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.
What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?
The extension fee is AED 1,200 for 30 days and AED 2,400 for 60 days (two back to back extensions), identical for all passports including Fiji.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Expect two to three working days for a Fiji passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.
Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?
The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.
Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
Is there a grace period after my visa expires?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Rejection is uncommon for eligible applications. Fees are not refunded on refusal, since immigration retains the charge, and the fallback is an exit route before the visa expires. Our pre check is designed to catch problems early.
