If you hold a Honduras passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Read on for the rules that apply to Honduras passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.
In short: Honduras passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.

The meaning of Visa extension for Honduras passport holders
Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Honduras passport. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.
It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. If a Honduras passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.
Who qualifies
Three factors decide whether a Honduras passport holder can extend: the visa type, the number of extensions already taken, and the issuing agency. We check the position for Honduras passports on WhatsApp and advise the right route: extension, airport to airport or bus.
- Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
- Travellers who will remain within the 120 day ceiling after the extension is added.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Honduras citizens
Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Honduras passports pay the standard rate.
- A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
- Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps
The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Honduras visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.
Payment options
For UAE residents applying on behalf of Honduras family or friends, the AED 1,200 can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.
Documents required for a Visa extension on a Honduras passport
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- Your Honduras passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- Your existing visa PDF, which tells us the entry date, expiry and extension count.
No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Honduras passport.
The application process step by step
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Honduras passport can be extended.
- Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
- We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Honduras applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
Do not wait until the last day
Immigration will not extend a visa that has already lapsed, so the request has to be in before the expiry date. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Honduras visitors from missing the deadline. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
What happens if you miss the deadline
There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Honduras passports.

When extension is no longer possible
At 120 days total, Honduras passport holders must leave the UAE. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
- Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
- Miscounting the 120 days. Total stay is counted from the original entry date, not from the last extension, so keep a running tally.
- Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
- Expecting an on arrival stamp to be extendable. It is not; a visa change is required instead.
Honduras passport Visa extension FAQ
Can Honduras passport holders extend in country?
You can. Honduras passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.
What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?
AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Honduras citizens.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Honduras travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
What is the maximum stay?
Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.
Does the same agency rule apply to Honduras passports?
Extensions go through the issuer’s account, so a visa from another agency must be extended by them. Alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change or the Oman bus, neither of which depends on who issued the first visa.
When do fines start?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Is there a family extension option?
Certainly. We extend the whole family at once, and residents sponsoring Honduras relatives can pay the combined AED 1,200 per person on an instalment plan.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
