Haiti passport Visa extension: fees, rules and process

When a Haiti citizen wants more time in the UAE, a Visa extension adds 30 days to the current visit visa from inside the country. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Read on for the rules that apply to Haiti passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Haiti passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

What is a Visa extension without exit?

A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Haiti passport. Nothing physical happens on your side; you continue your visit and we send the approved extension on WhatsApp.

The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. If a Haiti passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.

Eligibility for Haiti passport holders

A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Haiti citizens before you pay anything.

  • Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
  • Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
  • Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.

If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). On arrival stamps and residence visas fall outside this service.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Haiti citizens

The Visa extension fee is AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, and the price is the same for every nationality, including Haiti.

  • A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
  • 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals

The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Haiti passport.

Payment options

If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Haiti passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.

What Haiti citizens need to send us

Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:

  1. Your Haiti passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.

The extension does not call for a bank statement, accommodation proof or a return ticket. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Haiti passport.

Getting your extension in four steps

  1. Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 at least five to seven days before your visa expires. We check the expiry date and extension count and confirm eligibility the same day.
  2. Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
  3. We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Haiti applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
  4. Once approved, we send the extension PDF on WhatsApp. It shows the new expiry date and should travel with your passport.

When to apply and why the deadline matters

An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Haiti visitors from missing the deadline. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.

Overstay rules in 2026

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. Once expired, the visa cannot be extended. You settle the fine and use an exit route, airport to airport or bus, which we organise for Haiti travellers.

Options for Haiti visitors after 120 days

Once a Haiti visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Haiti and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.

How to keep your application on track

  • Leaving it to the last day. An expired visa cannot be extended, so allow a week.
  • Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
  • Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
  • Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
  • Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.

Answers for Haiti citizens

Is extension without exit possible for Haiti citizens?

Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.

How much is a 2 month extension?

One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Haiti passports pay the standard rate.

What is the processing time?

Typically two to three working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Immigration can take longer in some cases, which is why a five to seven day lead time is recommended.

Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?

The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.

Who can process my extension?

Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.

When do fines start?

No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.

Is there a family extension option?

Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.

Can immigration decline an extension?

Rejection is uncommon for eligible applications. Fees are not refunded on refusal, since immigration retains the charge, and the fallback is an exit route before the visa expires. Our pre check is designed to catch problems early.
