A Visa extension allows Liberia passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Liberia traveller needs to know before applying: fees, limits, deadlines, paperwork and the alternatives when extension is no longer possible.
Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Liberia passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Visa extension explained for Liberia travellers
A Visa extension is an extension of the current permit; the visa number stays the same and the expiry date moves forward by 30 days. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Liberia passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
This is different from an airport to airport visa change or a visa change by bus to Oman, both of which involve leaving the UAE and returning on a completely new tourist visa. For Liberia visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Who qualifies
Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Liberia citizens before you pay anything.
- Visitors on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visit visa who have not yet reached the extension limit.
- Travellers who will remain within the 120 day ceiling after the extension is added.
- Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.
If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

Visa extension fees for Liberia passport holders
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Liberia included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- Two month visa extension: AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions
This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Any overstay fine is settled separately with immigration and is not included in the AED 1,200. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Liberia travellers.
Spreading the cost
Residents of the UAE booking for Liberia visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.
Documents required for a Visa extension on a Liberia passport
Since immigration already has your file from the original visa, an extension needs only a few items. WhatsApp us:
- Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Liberia travellers without delay.
How to apply for a Visa extension from Liberia
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Liberia passport can be extended.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Liberia passports usually takes two to three working days; immigration can sometimes extend this.
- Once approved, we send the extension PDF on WhatsApp. It shows the new expiry date and should travel with your passport.
Timing your Visa extension
Immigration will not extend a visa that has already lapsed, so the request has to be in before the expiry date. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
Why the expiry date is final
There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

Options for Liberia visitors after 120 days
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.
Mistakes to avoid
- Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
- Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
- Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.
Liberia passport Visa extension FAQ
Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Liberia passport?
Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.
How much does a Visa extension cost for Liberia citizens?
AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Liberia. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.
What is the processing time?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Liberia travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
How many times can a Liberia citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.
Does the same agency rule apply to Liberia passports?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
When do fines start?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.
What if my extension is refused?
Rejection is uncommon for eligible applications. Fees are not refunded on refusal, since immigration retains the charge, and the fallback is an exit route before the visa expires. Our pre check is designed to catch problems early.
