Visa extension without exit for Monaco passport holders

For travellers from Monaco, the Visa extension is the simplest way to stay longer: no airport, no bus, just a 30 day extension processed while you remain in the UAE. The fee is AED 1,200 for each 30 day extension, approval normally arrives in two to three working days, and everything is handled on WhatsApp. This page explains who qualifies, what a Monaco passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.

Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Monaco passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

What is a Visa extension without exit?

A Visa extension is an extension of the current permit; the visa number stays the same and the expiry date moves forward by 30 days. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Monaco passport record. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.

Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. For eligible Monaco travellers the extension beats the exit routes on cost, effort and time away.

Eligibility for Monaco passport holders

Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. WhatsApp us your visa copy and we will tell you straight away if an extension is possible for a Monaco passport or if you need a visa change instead.

  • Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
  • Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
  • Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.

If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

Monaco passport Visa extension price

The Visa extension fee is AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, and the price is the same for every nationality, including Monaco.

  • One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
  • 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals

The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Monaco travellers.

Pay in monthly instalments

UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Monaco can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.

Paperwork for a Visa extension

Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:

  1. A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.

No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Monaco passport.

How to apply for a Visa extension from Monaco

  1. Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 with at least five to seven days remaining, and we confirm the same day.
  2. Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
  3. We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Monaco applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
  4. The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.

When to apply and why the deadline matters

An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. We ask Monaco travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.

What happens if you miss the deadline

There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. Once expired, the visa cannot be extended. You settle the fine and use an exit route, airport to airport or bus, which we organise for Monaco travellers.

Reaching the 120 day limit

The 120 day ceiling is absolute; after it, every Monaco visitor has to exit. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Monaco and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.

How to keep your application on track

  • Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
  • Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
  • Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
  • Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
  • Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.

Monaco passport Visa extension FAQ

Can Monaco passport holders extend in country?

You can. Monaco passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.

How much is a 2 month extension?

One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Monaco passports pay the standard rate.

When will I receive the extension?

Expect two to three working days for a Monaco passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.

How many extensions are allowed?

Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.

Does the same agency rule apply to Monaco passports?

Extensions go through the issuer’s account, so a visa from another agency must be extended by them. Alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change or the Oman bus, neither of which depends on who issued the first visa.

How many days can I stay after the visa ends?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Can spouse and children extend at the same time?

Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.

Is the fee refundable on rejection?

Refusals are rare when the eligibility rules are met. If immigration declines, the fee is not refundable because the government charge is paid at submission, and you would need to exit before expiry through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. We check eligibility carefully before you pay to keep this risk low.
