Visa extension for Nauru citizens without leaving the UAE

A Visa extension allows Nauru passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. The fee is AED 1,200 for each 30 day extension, approval normally arrives in two to three working days, and everything is handled on WhatsApp. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Nauru citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Nauru passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

The meaning of Visa extension for Nauru passport holders

An in country Visa extension extends the visa you already hold rather than issuing a fresh one. Immigration processes the extension under the original issuer’s account and records the new expiry against your Nauru passport. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.

Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. For Nauru visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.

Who from Nauru can apply for a Visa extension?

A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Nauru citizens before you pay anything.

  • Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
  • Anyone whose combined stay stays under 120 days once the extension is counted.
  • Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.

If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

Nauru passport Visa extension price

The Visa extension fee is AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, and the price is the same for every nationality, including Nauru.

  • 30 day extension: AED 1,200
  • Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps

The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Nauru visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.

Instalment plans for UAE residents

For UAE residents applying on behalf of Nauru family or friends, the AED 1,200 can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. When several family members extend at once, we process them together and the total can be paid on the same plan.

Paperwork for a Visa extension

Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:

  1. A clear copy of your Nauru passport, valid for at least six months.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. Your existing visa PDF, which tells us the entry date, expiry and extension count.

No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Nauru travellers without delay.

How to apply for a Visa extension from Nauru

  1. Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 at least five to seven days before your visa expires. We check the expiry date and extension count and confirm eligibility the same day.
  2. Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
  3. The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Nauru applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
  4. Once approved, we send the extension PDF on WhatsApp. It shows the new expiry date and should travel with your passport.

When to apply and why the deadline matters

The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Nauru visitors from missing the deadline. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.

Overstay rules in 2026

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

When extension is no longer possible

Once a Nauru visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
  • Approaching a different agency. The same agency rule means we can only extend visas we issued; for others, use an exit route.
  • Miscounting the 120 days. Total stay is counted from the original entry date, not from the last extension, so keep a running tally.
  • Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
  • Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.

Nauru passport Visa extension FAQ

Do I have to leave the UAE to extend?

You can. Nauru passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.

How much is a 2 month extension?

One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Nauru passports pay the standard rate.

How long does a Visa extension take?

Expect two to three working days for a Nauru passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.

Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?

Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.

Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?

No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.

Can I stay a few days after expiry?

There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.

What about family members on Nauru passports?

Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.

What if my extension is refused?

Rejection is uncommon for eligible applications. Fees are not refunded on refusal, since immigration retains the charge, and the fallback is an exit route before the visa expires. Our pre check is designed to catch problems early.
