- Apply for your Visa extension with White Sky Travel
If you hold a Namibia passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. We process the extension for AED 1,200 per 30 day block, usually within two to three working days, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp. Read on for the rules that apply to Namibia passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.
The essentials for Namibia citizens: AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, no exit required, two to three working days processing, a 120 day ceiling on total stay, and a five to seven day lead time before expiry. Only the issuing agency can process it.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
How an in country UAE visa extension works
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The application is submitted to immigration through the same agency account that issued your original visa, and once approved the new expiry date is recorded against your Namibia passport. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.
It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. If a Namibia passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.
Is a Visa extension available for Namibia citizens?
Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. Send us a copy of your current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether a Namibia passport can be extended, or whether an exit route is the better option.
- Visitors on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visit visa who have not yet reached the extension limit.
- Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
- Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.
Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Namibia citizens
Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Namibia passports pay the standard rate.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals
The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. A Namibia visitor needing 30 days should extend; one needing 60 days after the limit should look at the exit routes.
Spreading the cost
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Namibia passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.
Paperwork for a Visa extension
Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:
- Your Namibia passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- Your existing visa PDF, which tells us the entry date, expiry and extension count.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Should immigration want anything more for a Namibia passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.
The application process step by step
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Namibia passport can be extended.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Namibia citizens is two to three working days.
- The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.
When to apply and why the deadline matters
Immigration will not extend a visa that has already lapsed, so the request has to be in before the expiry date. We ask Namibia travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
Overstay rules in 2026
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. If your visa has already expired, extension is off the table; the practical route is to pay the fine and exit through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman, and we can arrange either.

Reaching the 120 day limit
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. Four options follow: airport to airport at AED 1,550 and back the same day, the bus to Oman from AED 1,000 taking roughly a day, a return home before a new visa, or a residence visa through an employer or family member. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Namibia travellers on WhatsApp.
Mistakes to avoid
- Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Miscounting the 120 days. Total stay is counted from the original entry date, not from the last extension, so keep a running tally.
- Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
- Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.
Frequently asked questions about Visa extension for Namibia passport
Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Namibia passport?
Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Namibia. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.
When will I receive the extension?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Namibia travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?
Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.
Does the same agency rule apply to Namibia passports?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
When do fines start?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.
Is the fee refundable on rejection?
Rejection is uncommon for eligible applications. Fees are not refunded on refusal, since immigration retains the charge, and the fallback is an exit route before the visa expires. Our pre check is designed to catch problems early.
