For travellers from Niger, the Visa extension is the simplest way to stay longer: no airport, no bus, just a 30 day extension processed while you remain in the UAE. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Here is everything a Niger traveller needs to know before applying: fees, limits, deadlines, paperwork and the alternatives when extension is no longer possible.
Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Niger passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
How an in country UAE visa extension works
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Niger passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. Wherever a Niger citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.
Who qualifies
Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. WhatsApp us your visa copy and we will tell you straight away if an extension is possible for a Niger passport or if you need a visa change instead.
- Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
- Travellers who will remain within the 120 day ceiling after the extension is added.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Niger citizens
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Niger included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- 30 day extension: AED 1,200
- Two month visa extension: AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions
This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Niger passport.
Instalment plans for UAE residents
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Niger passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.
What Niger citizens need to send us
Since immigration already has your file from the original visa, an extension needs only a few items. WhatsApp us:
- Your Niger passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Niger travellers without delay.
Getting your extension in four steps
- Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 at least five to seven days before your visa expires. We check the expiry date and extension count and confirm eligibility the same day.
- Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
- We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Niger applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
- You receive the approved extension as a PDF on WhatsApp showing the new expiry date. Keep it with your passport for the rest of your stay.
Do not wait until the last day
An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Niger visitors from missing the deadline. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
What happens if you miss the deadline
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. Once expired, the visa cannot be extended. You settle the fine and use an exit route, airport to airport or bus, which we organise for Niger travellers.

What to do after the maximum extensions
Once a Niger visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Niger and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Niger travellers on WhatsApp.
Mistakes to avoid
- Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
- Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
- Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.
Niger passport Visa extension FAQ
Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Niger passport?
You can. Niger passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Niger. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.
How many days until approval?
Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.
How many times can a Niger citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.
What if my visa came from a different agency?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
Can I stay a few days after expiry?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
What about family members on Niger passports?
Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.
Is the fee refundable on rejection?
Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Niger applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
