If you hold a North Macedonia passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for North Macedonia citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
The essentials for North Macedonia citizens: AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, no exit required, two to three working days processing, a 120 day ceiling on total stay, and a five to seven day lead time before expiry. Only the issuing agency can process it.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
What is a Visa extension without exit?
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The application is submitted to immigration through the same agency account that issued your original visa, and once approved the new expiry date is recorded against your North Macedonia passport. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.
It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. Wherever a North Macedonia citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.
Eligibility for North Macedonia passport holders
Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. We check the position for North Macedonia passports on WhatsApp and advise the right route: extension, airport to airport or bus.
- Visitors on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visit visa who have not yet reached the extension limit.
- Travellers who will remain within the 120 day ceiling after the extension is added.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). On arrival stamps and residence visas fall outside this service.

How much does a Visa extension cost?
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, North Macedonia included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
- Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps
The fee covers the government charge and our processing, and it is not refundable if immigration declines the extension, because the government fee is paid at submission. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. A North Macedonia visitor needing 30 days should extend; one needing 60 days after the limit should look at the exit routes.
Spreading the cost
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a North Macedonia passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. When several family members extend at once, we process them together and the total can be paid on the same plan.
Visa extension requirements for North Macedonia passport holders
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.
You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. Should immigration want anything more for a North Macedonia passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.
The application process step by step
- Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 at least five to seven days before your visa expires. We check the expiry date and extension count and confirm eligibility the same day.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
- The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most North Macedonia applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.
The five to seven day rule for North Macedonia visitors
The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. Because approval takes two to three working days and government offices close at weekends and on public holidays, North Macedonia passport holders should message us five to seven days before expiry. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.
What happens if you miss the deadline
Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for North Macedonia passports.

When extension is no longer possible
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to North Macedonia and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.
How to keep your application on track
- Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
- Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
- Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.
Questions North Macedonia travellers ask us
Can North Macedonia passport holders extend in country?
Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.
How much does a Visa extension cost for North Macedonia citizens?
The extension fee is AED 1,200 for 30 days and AED 2,400 for 60 days (two back to back extensions), identical for all passports including North Macedonia.
What is the processing time?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, North Macedonia travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
How many times can a North Macedonia citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.
Who can process my extension?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
Can I stay a few days after expiry?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
Can spouse and children extend at the same time?
Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Refusals are rare when the eligibility rules are met. If immigration declines, the fee is not refundable because the government charge is paid at submission, and you would need to exit before expiry through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. We check eligibility carefully before you pay to keep this risk low.
