If you hold a Samoa passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. The fee is AED 1,200 for each 30 day extension, approval normally arrives in two to three working days, and everything is handled on WhatsApp. Read on for the rules that apply to Samoa passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.
Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Samoa passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Visa extension explained for Samoa travellers
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Samoa passport record. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.
It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. For Samoa visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Is a Visa extension available for Samoa citizens?
Three factors decide whether a Samoa passport holder can extend: the visa type, the number of extensions already taken, and the issuing agency. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Samoa citizens before you pay anything.
- Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
Visas issued elsewhere can be extended by that agency; alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or a bus visa change from AED 1,000, each providing a new 60 day visa. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

How much does a Visa extension cost?
We charge AED 1,200 for every 30 day extension regardless of nationality, so Samoa citizens pay exactly this figure.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals
This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Samoa travellers.
Instalment plans for UAE residents
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Samoa passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. When several family members extend at once, we process them together and the total can be paid on the same plan.
Visa extension requirements for Samoa passport holders
Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:
- Your Samoa passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.
You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. Should immigration want anything more for a Samoa passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.
Getting your extension in four steps
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
- Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
- We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Samoa applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
- Once approved, we send the extension PDF on WhatsApp. It shows the new expiry date and should travel with your passport.
The five to seven day rule for Samoa visitors
The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. Because approval takes two to three working days and government offices close at weekends and on public holidays, Samoa passport holders should message us five to seven days before expiry. Back to back extensions should each be filed a few days before the running expiry, always within the 120 day cap.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. If your visa has already expired, extension is off the table; the practical route is to pay the fine and exit through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman, and we can arrange either.

When extension is no longer possible
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.
Common problems for Samoa applicants and how we prevent them
- Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.
Samoa passport Visa extension FAQ
Is extension without exit possible for Samoa citizens?
Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Samoa citizens.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Expect two to three working days for a Samoa passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.
How many times can a Samoa citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.
Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?
Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.
How many days can I stay after the visa ends?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
Can spouse and children extend at the same time?
Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.
What if my extension is refused?
Rejection is uncommon for eligible applications. Fees are not refunded on refusal, since immigration retains the charge, and the fallback is an exit route before the visa expires. Our pre check is designed to catch problems early.
