If you hold a Seychelles passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Seychelles citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Seychelles passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
How an in country UAE visa extension works
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Seychelles passport record. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
This is different from an airport to airport visa change or a visa change by bus to Oman, both of which involve leaving the UAE and returning on a completely new tourist visa. Wherever a Seychelles citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.
Eligibility for Seychelles passport holders
A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. We check the position for Seychelles passports on WhatsApp and advise the right route: extension, airport to airport or bus.
- Visitors on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visit visa who have not yet reached the extension limit.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.
Visas issued elsewhere can be extended by that agency; alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or a bus visa change from AED 1,000, each providing a new 60 day visa. Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Seychelles citizens
Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Seychelles passports pay the standard rate.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- Two month visa extension: AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions
The fee covers the government charge and our processing, and it is not refundable if immigration declines the extension, because the government fee is paid at submission. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Seychelles travellers.
Pay in monthly instalments
UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Seychelles can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.
Paperwork for a Visa extension
Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:
- Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Should immigration want anything more for a Seychelles passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.
The application process step by step
- Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 with at least five to seven days remaining, and we confirm the same day.
- Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Seychelles citizens is two to three working days.
- Once approved, we send the extension PDF on WhatsApp. It shows the new expiry date and should travel with your passport.
Do not wait until the last day
Applications are only accepted while the visa is still valid. Once it expires, extension is no longer possible. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.
Why the expiry date is final
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

Reaching the 120 day limit
Once a Seychelles visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Seychelles and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Trying to extend a visa on arrival or a residence visa. This service covers agency issued visit visas only; other permits need a different route.
Answers for Seychelles citizens
Can Seychelles passport holders extend in country?
You can. Seychelles passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.
How much does a Visa extension cost for Seychelles citizens?
The extension fee is AED 1,200 for 30 days and AED 2,400 for 60 days (two back to back extensions), identical for all passports including Seychelles.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Seychelles travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
How many extensions are allowed?
A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days. The maximum continuous stay on any UAE tourist visa is 120 days, after which exit is mandatory.
What if my visa came from a different agency?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
Can I stay a few days after expiry?
None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Refusals are rare when the eligibility rules are met. If immigration declines, the fee is not refundable because the government charge is paid at submission, and you would need to exit before expiry through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. We check eligibility carefully before you pay to keep this risk low.
