Visa extension for Singapore passport

A Visa extension allows Singapore passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Singapore citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.

The essentials for Singapore citizens: AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, no exit required, two to three working days processing, a 120 day ceiling on total stay, and a five to seven day lead time before expiry. Only the issuing agency can process it.

Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

Visa extension explained for Singapore travellers

A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Singapore passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.

Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. Wherever a Singapore citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.

Eligibility for Singapore passport holders

A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Singapore citizens before you pay anything.

  • Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
  • Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
  • Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.

Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

Singapore passport Visa extension price

We charge AED 1,200 for every 30 day extension regardless of nationality, so Singapore citizens pay exactly this figure.

  • 1 month extension inside the UAE: AED 1,200
  • 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)

The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. A Singapore visitor needing 30 days should extend; one needing 60 days after the limit should look at the exit routes.

Pay in monthly instalments

UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Singapore can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.

Paperwork for a Visa extension

Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:

  1. Your Singapore passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.

The extension does not call for a bank statement, accommodation proof or a return ticket. In rare cases immigration asks for something extra; if so, we let Singapore applicants know straight away.

Getting your extension in four steps

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
  2. Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
  3. We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Singapore applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
  4. You receive the approved extension as a PDF on WhatsApp showing the new expiry date. Keep it with your passport for the rest of your stay.

When to apply and why the deadline matters

Immigration will not extend a visa that has already lapsed, so the request has to be in before the expiry date. Because approval takes two to three working days and government offices close at weekends and on public holidays, Singapore passport holders should message us five to seven days before expiry. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.

Overstay rules in 2026

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Singapore passports.

What to do after the maximum extensions

Once a Singapore visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Singapore travellers on WhatsApp.

Why extensions get refused or delayed

  • Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
  • Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
  • Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
  • Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
  • Expecting an on arrival stamp to be extendable. It is not; a visa change is required instead.

Answers for Singapore citizens

Can Singapore passport holders extend in country?

Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.

What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?

AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Singapore. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.

When will I receive the extension?

Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.

Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?

A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days. The maximum continuous stay on any UAE tourist visa is 120 days, after which exit is mandatory.

Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?

No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.

Can I stay a few days after expiry?

There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.

Can I extend visas for my family together?

Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.

Is the fee refundable on rejection?

Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Singapore applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
