Slovakia passport Visa extension: fees, rules and process

A Visa extension allows Slovakia passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Read on for the rules that apply to Slovakia passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.

The essentials for Slovakia citizens: AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, no exit required, two to three working days processing, a 120 day ceiling on total stay, and a five to seven day lead time before expiry. Only the issuing agency can process it.

How an in country UAE visa extension works

A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Slovakia passport. Nothing physical happens on your side; you continue your visit and we send the approved extension on WhatsApp.

The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. Wherever a Slovakia citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.

Who qualifies

Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. Send us a copy of your current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether a Slovakia passport can be extended, or whether an exit route is the better option.

  • Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
  • Anyone whose combined stay stays under 120 days once the extension is counted.
  • Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.

If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Slovakia citizens

We charge AED 1,200 for every 30 day extension regardless of nationality, so Slovakia citizens pay exactly this figure.

  • One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
  • 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals

The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Slovakia visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.

Pay in monthly instalments

Residents of the UAE booking for Slovakia visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.

Visa extension requirements for Slovakia passport holders

The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:

  1. A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. Your existing visa PDF, which tells us the entry date, expiry and extension count.

You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Slovakia passport.

How to apply for a Visa extension from Slovakia

  1. WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Slovakia passport can be extended.
  2. Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Slovakia citizens is two to three working days.
  4. We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.

The five to seven day rule for Slovakia visitors

Applications are only accepted while the visa is still valid. Once it expires, extension is no longer possible. We ask Slovakia travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. When chaining extensions, start each one a few days early and count your total days from the original entry.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. If your visa has already expired, extension is off the table; the practical route is to pay the fine and exit through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman, and we can arrange either.

When extension is no longer possible

The 120 day ceiling is absolute; after it, every Slovakia visitor has to exit. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Slovakia travellers on WhatsApp.

How to keep your application on track

  • Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
  • Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
  • Miscounting the 120 days. Total stay is counted from the original entry date, not from the last extension, so keep a running tally.
  • A passport expiring soon. Renew it before applying.
  • Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.

Answers for Slovakia citizens

Can Slovakia passport holders extend in country?

You can. Slovakia passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.

What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?

AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Slovakia. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.

How long does a Visa extension take?

Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Slovakia travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.

How many times can a Slovakia citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?

Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.

Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?

No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.

Is there a grace period after my visa expires?

There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.

Can I extend visas for my family together?

Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.

What if my extension is refused?

Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
