Visa extension without exit for Slovenia passport holders

A Visa extension allows Slovenia passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Read on for the rules that apply to Slovenia passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.

Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Slovenia passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.

Visa extension explained for Slovenia travellers

An in country Visa extension extends the visa you already hold rather than issuing a fresh one. Immigration processes the extension under the original issuer’s account and records the new expiry against your Slovenia passport. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.

Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. Wherever a Slovenia citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.

Who qualifies

A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Slovenia citizens before you pay anything.

  • Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
  • Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
  • Visitors whose visa we issued. Immigration processes extensions through the original issuer’s account, so another agency cannot extend a visa we did not issue, and we cannot extend a visa issued elsewhere.

If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). On arrival stamps and residence visas fall outside this service.

Visa extension fees for Slovenia passport holders

A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Slovenia included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.

  • 30 day extension: AED 1,200
  • 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)

The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Slovenia passport.

Payment options

For UAE residents applying on behalf of Slovenia family or friends, the AED 1,200 can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.

Documents required for a Visa extension on a Slovenia passport

The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:

  1. A clear copy of your Slovenia passport, valid for at least six months.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.

No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Should immigration want anything more for a Slovenia passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.

How to apply for a Visa extension from Slovenia

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
  2. Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Slovenia citizens is two to three working days.
  4. We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.

The five to seven day rule for Slovenia visitors

The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. We ask Slovenia travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. When chaining extensions, start each one a few days early and count your total days from the original entry.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. If your visa has already expired, extension is off the table; the practical route is to pay the fine and exit through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman, and we can arrange either.

Reaching the 120 day limit

When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Slovenia and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Slovenia travellers on WhatsApp.

How to keep your application on track

  • Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
  • Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
  • Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
  • Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
  • Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.

Slovenia passport Visa extension FAQ

Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Slovenia passport?

Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.

How much is a 2 month extension?

AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Slovenia citizens.

How many days until approval?

Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Slovenia travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.

How many times can a Slovenia citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?

Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.

Who can process my extension?

Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.

How many days can I stay after the visa ends?

None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.

What about family members on Slovenia passports?

Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.

Can immigration decline an extension?

Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Slovenia applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
