If you hold a Tajikistan passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Tajikistan citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Tajikistan passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Visa extension explained for Tajikistan travellers
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Tajikistan passport. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.
It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. For Tajikistan visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Eligibility for Tajikistan passport holders
A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Tajikistan citizens before you pay anything.
- Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
- Anyone whose combined stay stays under 120 days once the extension is counted.
- Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.
If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

How much does a Visa extension cost?
Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Tajikistan passports pay the standard rate.
- 30 day extension: AED 1,200
- 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)
The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. Any overstay fine is settled separately with immigration and is not included in the AED 1,200. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Tajikistan visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.
Instalment plans for UAE residents
For UAE residents applying on behalf of Tajikistan family or friends, the AED 1,200 can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.
Visa extension requirements for Tajikistan passport holders
Since immigration already has your file from the original visa, an extension needs only a few items. WhatsApp us:
- Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.
No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Should immigration want anything more for a Tajikistan passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.
The application process step by step
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Tajikistan passport can be extended.
- Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Tajikistan citizens is two to three working days.
- You receive the approved extension as a PDF on WhatsApp showing the new expiry date. Keep it with your passport for the rest of your stay.
When to apply and why the deadline matters
The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.
Why the expiry date is final
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. Once expired, the visa cannot be extended. You settle the fine and use an exit route, airport to airport or bus, which we organise for Tajikistan travellers.

Reaching the 120 day limit
At 120 days total, Tajikistan passport holders must leave the UAE. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Tajikistan and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
- Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
- Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
- A passport expiring soon. Renew it before applying.
- Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.
Tajikistan passport Visa extension FAQ
Is extension without exit possible for Tajikistan citizens?
Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
The extension fee is AED 1,200 for 30 days and AED 2,400 for 60 days (two back to back extensions), identical for all passports including Tajikistan.
When will I receive the extension?
Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.
Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?
The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.
Who can process my extension?
Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.
Can I stay a few days after expiry?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.
Is the fee refundable on rejection?
Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Tajikistan applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
