If you hold a Trinidad and Tobago passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Trinidad and Tobago citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Trinidad and Tobago passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
The meaning of Visa extension for Trinidad and Tobago passport holders
Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. Immigration processes the extension under the original issuer’s account and records the new expiry against your Trinidad and Tobago passport. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.
The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. For eligible Trinidad and Tobago travellers the extension beats the exit routes on cost, effort and time away.
Who from Trinidad and Tobago can apply for a Visa extension?
Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. We check the position for Trinidad and Tobago passports on WhatsApp and advise the right route: extension, airport to airport or bus.
- Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
- Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
- Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.
Visas issued elsewhere can be extended by that agency; alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or a bus visa change from AED 1,000, each providing a new 60 day visa. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

How much does a Visa extension cost?
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Trinidad and Tobago included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps
This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Any overstay fine is settled separately with immigration and is not included in the AED 1,200. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Trinidad and Tobago passport.
Instalment plans for UAE residents
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Trinidad and Tobago passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.
Paperwork for a Visa extension
Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:
- A clear copy of your Trinidad and Tobago passport, valid for at least six months.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.
You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Trinidad and Tobago travellers without delay.
How Trinidad and Tobago citizens apply
- Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 at least five to seven days before your visa expires. We check the expiry date and extension count and confirm eligibility the same day.
- Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
- The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Trinidad and Tobago applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- Once approved, we send the extension PDF on WhatsApp. It shows the new expiry date and should travel with your passport.
Do not wait until the last day
An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. We ask Trinidad and Tobago travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.
Overstay rules in 2026
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

Options for Trinidad and Tobago visitors after 120 days
The 120 day ceiling is absolute; after it, every Trinidad and Tobago visitor has to exit. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Expecting an on arrival stamp to be extendable. It is not; a visa change is required instead.
Answers for Trinidad and Tobago citizens
Is extension without exit possible for Trinidad and Tobago citizens?
Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.
How much is a 2 month extension?
AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Trinidad and Tobago citizens.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Typically two to three working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Immigration can take longer in some cases, which is why a five to seven day lead time is recommended.
How many times can a Trinidad and Tobago citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.
Who can process my extension?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
Is there a grace period after my visa expires?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.
What happens if it is not approved?
Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
