For travellers from Turkmenistan, the Visa extension is the simplest way to stay longer: no airport, no bus, just a 30 day extension processed while you remain in the UAE. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Turkmenistan citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
In short: Turkmenistan passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
The meaning of Visa extension for Turkmenistan passport holders
An in country Visa extension extends the visa you already hold rather than issuing a fresh one. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Turkmenistan passport record. Nothing physical happens on your side; you continue your visit and we send the approved extension on WhatsApp.
The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. For Turkmenistan visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Is a Visa extension available for Turkmenistan citizens?
A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Turkmenistan citizens before you pay anything.
- Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.
Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Turkmenistan citizens
Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Turkmenistan passports pay the standard rate.
- 30 day extension: AED 1,200
- Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps
This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Turkmenistan travellers.
Spreading the cost
For UAE residents applying on behalf of Turkmenistan family or friends, the AED 1,200 can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.
Documents required for a Visa extension on a Turkmenistan passport
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- A clear copy of your Turkmenistan passport, valid for at least six months.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Turkmenistan passport.
The application process step by step
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
- Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Turkmenistan passports usually takes two to three working days; immigration can sometimes extend this.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
When to apply and why the deadline matters
Applications are only accepted while the visa is still valid. Once it expires, extension is no longer possible. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Turkmenistan visitors from missing the deadline. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
Overstay rules in 2026
Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

What to do after the maximum extensions
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. Either exit route resets you on a new 60 day visa, and the same agency rule does not apply to them.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
- Assuming any agency can extend. Only the issuer can, because immigration routes the request through the issuing account. Check who issued your visa before you plan.
- Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
- Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
- Expecting an on arrival stamp to be extendable. It is not; a visa change is required instead.
Turkmenistan passport Visa extension FAQ
Do I have to leave the UAE to extend?
Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Turkmenistan. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Expect two to three working days for a Turkmenistan passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.
Can I extend my 30 day visa more than once?
Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.
What if my visa came from a different agency?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
When do fines start?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Certainly. We extend the whole family at once, and residents sponsoring Turkmenistan relatives can pay the combined AED 1,200 per person on an instalment plan.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
