The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.

A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. The deposit sits apart from the visa fee, is returned after you leave the UAE, and we confirm the amount for Belgium citizens on WhatsApp before booking.

2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.

4. Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.

Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Belgium applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. UAE immigration may also ask arriving travellers to show proof of funds on entry, so carry a card or cash that demonstrates you can support your stay.

Sponsors based in the UAE send their passport and residence visa copies with six months validity, front and back of the Emirates ID, and complete the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.

Validity, entry and stay rules for Belgium visitors

You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. The stay period, 30 or 60 days, starts counting from your arrival date. Choose single entry for a straightforward visit, or multiple entry if you plan to hop to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and come back. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.

What happens if you overstay

Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. Extending a Dubai visa for Belgium passport holders

Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. The maximum total stay is 120 days. When the extensions are used up, Belgium visitors must exit and return on a fresh visa, either by a same day flight or by the Oman bus route. Apply for the extension ahead of the expiry date, ideally a week before.

Why applications get held up

• Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
• Passport validity under six months. Renew before applying.
• Blurred or cropped photos. Use a clear, full colour scan with all four corners visible.

No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.

Refund policy on rejection?

No. Visa fees, including the service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission. You may reapply after addressing the reason for refusal.

What about children on Belgium passports?

Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.

Is working permitted?

No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
