Unless a passport qualifies for visa on arrival, a prearranged tourist visa is required, and that is what we provide. A limited number of passports receive a visa on arrival at UAE airports, and the list changes from time to time. Dubai visa price for Chile passport holders

The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. Should immigration refuse the application, the fee is not returned, as it covers government processing.

Refundable security deposit for some nationalities

For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Chile passport is affected.

Spreading the cost

What Chile citizens need to send us

Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:

1. Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
2. A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
3. A round trip ticket, which we can also book for you if it is not yet arranged.
4. Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.

Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Chile applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible.

Guarantor documents

If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Chile traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.

Key dates to remember

You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. Single entry means one arrival only, while multiple entry allows repeated exits and returns during the validity period, useful for side trips to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.

Overstay rules in 2026

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Extending a Dubai visa for Chile passport holders

Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. The maximum total stay is 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

Another route for Chile passports

For Chile travellers who prefer it, the Sharjah 60 day single entry visa costs AED 1,200 and carries no deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Chile applicants.

Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused

• No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
• A passport expiring within six months of travel.
• Blurred or cropped photos. Use a clear, full colour scan with all four corners visible.
• Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
• A passport with a single name and no document showing a full name, which immigration cannot process.
• Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.

Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.

Is there a grace period after the Dubai visa expires?

No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.

Can I get my money back on refusal?

Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.

Can children from Chile apply for a Dubai visa?

Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.

Can I look for a job on this visa?

Working on a tourist visa is prohibited. You can interview and explore opportunities, but employment needs a residence visa.
