Rates start at AED 450, four documents cover most cases, and our consultants manage the application with you on WhatsApp. This page explains what a Cyprus passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.
The essentials for Cyprus citizens: 30 day single entry AED 450, 60 day single entry AED 650, 30 day multiple entry AED 800, 60 day multiple entry AED 1,000. Expect a 24 to 72 hour turnaround and a 60 day window to enter after issue.

Is a Dubai visa required for Cyprus citizens?
A prearranged visa is the standard route for most travellers, and it is the product we issue for Cyprus passports. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. To be certain about the current rule for Cyprus citizens, WhatsApp us your passport page and we will check it at no cost.
How much does a Dubai visa cost for Cyprus citizens?
These are our current prices for a Dubai visa on a Cyprus passport, checked in September 2026:
- Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
- 60 days, single entry: AED 650
- 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
- 60 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 1,000
The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. All visa fees, including our service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission.
A note on deposits
Some passports are asked for a refundable security deposit. It is separate from the visa price above, it is refunded after the visitor exits the UAE, and we will confirm on WhatsApp whether it applies to Cyprus passports and how much it is.
Spreading the cost
For UAE residents applying on behalf of Cyprus family or friends, payment can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa
Share these items on WhatsApp and we will confirm whether we can proceed, typically within the hour:
- Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
- Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.
Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Cyprus be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. Please also carry a card or some cash, since immigration can ask arriving visitors to show proof of funds.
Sponsor requirements
For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.
Getting your Dubai visa in four steps
- Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
- Make the payment through the link we send. The application goes to immigration as soon as payment clears and documents are approved.
- We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Cyprus applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
- The approved visa arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp. Carry a printed or digital copy for the airline and for immigration on arrival.
Validity and duration of stay
Entry must take place within 60 days of issue, or the visa lapses. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. Choose single entry for a straightforward visit, or multiple entry if you plan to hop to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and come back. Employment is not permitted on a tourist visa.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. Our team messages Cyprus visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Can Cyprus citizens extend the visa?
Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. The maximum total stay is 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. Extension applications must be submitted before the current visa expires, so contact us with at least a week remaining.
Sharjah visa option
A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. It is valid for the whole UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Message us and we will compare both routes for your Cyprus passport.
Why applications get held up
- Leaving out the back cover, which immigration requires alongside the data page.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Poor quality scans. Make sure the whole page is visible and readable.
- Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
- A passport with a single name and no document showing a full name, which immigration cannot process.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
Cyprus passport Dubai visa FAQ
What is the processing time?
Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.
Price of a 30 day single entry visa?
The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.
What does the 60 day visa cost?
The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.
Is a bank statement required for a Cyprus passport?
Some nationalities need a six month statement, others do not. A UAE family member’s statement can be used where required. Immigration may still ask for proof of funds at the airport. Ask us on WhatsApp about Cyprus passports.
Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?
Yes, without exit. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each, capped at 120 days total. Beyond that, an exit and re entry is required. Apply before the visa expires.
Is there a grace period after the Dubai visa expires?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Is there a visa for minors?
Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.
Is working permitted?
Working on a tourist visa is prohibited. You can interview and explore opportunities, but employment needs a residence visa.
