Dubai visa for Cuba passport holders

If you hold a Cuba passport and need a Dubai visa, we can issue a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa in single or multiple entry, usually within 24 to 72 hours. Fees begin at AED 450, the document list is short, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp with our team in Dubai. This page explains what a Cuba passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.

Short version: four visa options for Cuba passports, from AED 450 for 30 days single entry to AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry, approved in 24 to 72 hours and valid for entry within 60 days of issue.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

Do Cuba passport holders need a Dubai visa?

The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. We confirm the current position for Cuba passports on WhatsApp so that nobody pays for a visa they do not need.

How much does a Dubai visa cost for Cuba citizens?

Here is the September 2026 price list for Cuba passport holders:

  • 30 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 450
  • 60 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 650
  • 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
  • 60 day multiple entry: AED 1,000

No tourist visa shorter than 30 days is available. All visa fees, including our service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission.

A note on deposits

A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. This is independent of the visa cost, refunded once you depart the UAE, and we tell Cuba applicants in advance whether one applies.

Pay in monthly instalments

If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Cuba passport, the fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online.

Documents required for a Dubai visa on a Cuba passport

Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:

  1. Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. A round trip ticket, which we can also book for you if it is not yet arranged.
  4. If the applicant is a minor, a birth certificate. Certain passports additionally need a national ID card copy.

Some nationalities may be asked for a six month bank statement, and where that applies to a Cuba passport a UAE based family member’s statement can be submitted on your behalf. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.

Guarantor documents

For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.

How Cuba citizens apply

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
  2. Make the payment through the link we send. The application goes to immigration as soon as payment clears and documents are approved.
  3. We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Cuba passports usually takes 24 to 72 hours; immigration can sometimes extend this or ask for more paperwork.
  4. Once approved, we send the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Show it at check in and at UAE immigration together with your passport.

How long the Dubai visa is valid

You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. Choose single entry for a straightforward visit, or multiple entry if you plan to hop to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and come back. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.

Overstay rules in 2026

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. Our team messages Cuba visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days

Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. When the extensions are used up, Cuba visitors must exit and return on a fresh visa, either by a same day flight or by the Oman bus route. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

An alternative issued through Sharjah

An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. It works for the entire country, including Dubai. We will advise on WhatsApp whether this suits Cuba citizens better than the standard visa.

Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused

  • Leaving out the back cover, which immigration requires alongside the data page.
  • Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve the visa in that case.
  • Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
  • Previous overstays, unpaid fines or improperly cancelled visas. Tell us about any past UAE history so we can advise honestly before you pay.
  • One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
  • Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.

Cuba passport Dubai visa FAQ

When will I receive my visa?

Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.

How much is a 30 day Dubai visa for Cuba citizens?

For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.

60 day visa fee for Cuba citizens?

AED 650 single or AED 1,000 multiple entry, with the Indian and Filipino tariff at AED 600 and AED 950.

Will immigration ask for proof of funds?

Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Cuba citizens on WhatsApp.

Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?

Yes, without exit. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each, capped at 120 days total. Beyond that, an exit and re entry is required. Apply before the visa expires.

When do fines start?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?

No refund applies on refusal, since immigration retains the processing charge. You can apply again once the problem is addressed.

Can I add my child to the application?

Yes. Children require an individual visa at the standard price. We need the passport, photo and birth certificate for each minor.

Does the tourist visa allow employment?

No. The visa is for visiting only. Taking up work requires an employment visa arranged by a UAE employer.
