Dubai visa for Denmark passport holders

If you hold a Denmark passport and need a Dubai visa, we can issue a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa in single or multiple entry, usually within 24 to 72 hours. Prices start at AED 450, you need only four documents, and everything happens over WhatsApp from our office in Dubai Investment Park. This page explains what a Denmark passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.

The essentials for Denmark citizens: 30 day single entry AED 450, 60 day single entry AED 650, 30 day multiple entry AED 800, 60 day multiple entry AED 1,000. Expect a 24 to 72 hour turnaround and a 60 day window to enter after issue.

Denmark passport and UAE entry rules

A prearranged visa is the standard route for most travellers, and it is the product we issue for Denmark passports. A shorter list of nationalities can enter with a stamp on arrival, and that list moves occasionally. If you are unsure whether a Denmark passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.

Denmark passport Dubai visa fees

These are our current prices for a Dubai visa on a Denmark passport, checked in September 2026:

  • 30 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 450
  • 60 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 650
  • 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
  • 60 day multiple entry: AED 1,000

The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.

Does a Denmark passport need a deposit?

For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Denmark passport is affected.

Spreading the cost

For UAE residents applying on behalf of Denmark family or friends, payment can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa

Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:

  1. Passport scan showing the front page and the back cover, valid for at least six months. A missing back cover is the most common reason an application is returned, so please include both.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
  4. If the applicant is a minor, a birth certificate. Certain passports additionally need a national ID card copy.

Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Denmark be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.

If a UAE resident is sponsoring you

If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Denmark traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.

The application process step by step

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
  2. Make the payment through the link we send. The application goes to immigration as soon as payment clears and documents are approved.
  3. We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Denmark applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
  4. We forward the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Keep it with your passport for the airline counter and arrival immigration.

Key dates to remember

The visa must be used to enter the UAE within 60 days of the date of issue. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.

Overstay rules in 2026

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. Our team messages Denmark visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days

The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. When the extensions are used up, Denmark visitors must exit and return on a fresh visa, either by a same day flight or by the Oman bus route. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

Sharjah visa option

We can also issue a Sharjah 60 day single entry visa for AED 1,200, which requires no security deposit. Holders may move freely across all seven emirates. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Denmark applicants.

Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused

  • Back cover not sent. It is the most common omission, so attach it from the start.
  • Passport validity under six months. Renew before applying.
  • Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
  • Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
  • Passports bearing a single name, which require a supporting document before we can apply.
  • Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.

Answers for Denmark citizens

When will I receive my visa?

Most applications are approved within 24 to 72 hours. Processing time is decided by immigration and can be longer if additional documents are requested, so apply at least three working days before travel.

Price of a 30 day single entry visa?

For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.

60 day visa fee for Denmark citizens?

The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.

Do I need to show a bank statement?

Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Denmark citizens on WhatsApp.

What if I want to stay longer?

Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.

When do fines start?

None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.

Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?

The fee is not returned if the visa is refused; it covers government processing. Reapplying is possible after the cause of rejection is fixed.

Can I add my child to the application?

Certainly. Every child is issued a separate visa at the same rate, and a birth certificate is required in addition to the passport and photo.

Does the tourist visa allow employment?

Employment is not allowed on a tourist visa. Job seekers can meet employers, but a work permit and residence visa are required before starting work.
