If you hold a East Timor passport and need a Dubai visa, we can issue a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa in single or multiple entry, usually within 24 to 72 hours. Fees begin at AED 450, the document list is short, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp with our team in Dubai. Below you will find the price for East Timor citizens, the documents we ask for, processing times, validity rules and extension options.
The essentials for East Timor citizens: 30 day single entry AED 450, 60 day single entry AED 650, 30 day multiple entry AED 800, 60 day multiple entry AED 1,000. Expect a 24 to 72 hour turnaround and a 60 day window to enter after issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Do East Timor passport holders need a Dubai visa?
Most nationalities need a prearranged visa before flying to the UAE, and that is what we issue. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. If you are unsure whether a East Timor passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.
East Timor passport Dubai visa fees
Here is the September 2026 price list for East Timor passport holders:
- Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
- Single entry 60 day visa: AED 650
- 30 days, multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. The visa fee is paid to immigration at submission and cannot be refunded if the application is declined.
Refundable security deposit for some nationalities
For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. The deposit sits apart from the visa fee, is returned after you leave the UAE, and we confirm the amount for East Timor citizens on WhatsApp before booking.
Pay in monthly instalments
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a East Timor passport, the fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp.

What East Timor citizens need to send us
Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:
- Passport scan showing the front page and the back cover, valid for at least six months. A missing back cover is the most common reason an application is returned, so please include both.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
- Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.
Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should East Timor be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. Please also carry a card or some cash, since immigration can ask arriving visitors to show proof of funds.
If a UAE resident is sponsoring you
For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. A family member’s UAE bank statement can replace the visitor’s statement if one is required, though friends cannot substitute theirs.
Getting your Dubai visa in four steps
- Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
- Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for East Timor citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- You receive the approved visa as a PDF on WhatsApp. Print a copy or keep it on your phone and present it with your passport at check in and on arrival.
Validity and duration of stay
The visa must be used to enter the UAE within 60 days of the date of issue. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. Single entry means one arrival only, while multiple entry allows repeated exits and returns during the validity period, useful for side trips to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Employment is not permitted on a tourist visa.
Overstay rules in 2026
Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. We send East Timor clients a reminder on WhatsApp before the visa expires so that you can extend or exit in time.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days
Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. The maximum total stay is 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. Apply for the extension ahead of the expiry date, ideally a week before.
Another route for East Timor passports
We can also issue a Sharjah 60 day single entry visa for AED 1,200, which requires no security deposit. It is valid for the whole UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We will advise on WhatsApp whether this suits East Timor citizens better than the standard visa.
Why applications get held up
- Back cover not sent. It is the most common omission, so attach it from the start.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- Single name passports. If your East Timor passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
- Applying too close to the travel date. Allow at least three working days, more during Eid and December.
Frequently asked questions about Dubai visa for East Timor passport
How long does a Dubai visa take for a East Timor passport?
Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.
Price of a 30 day single entry visa?
AED 450 single or AED 800 multiple entry. Indian and Filipino rates are AED 400 and AED 750. Deposits, where applicable, are confirmed before payment.
How much is a 60 day Dubai visa for East Timor passport holders?
AED 650 for single entry and AED 1,000 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 600 and AED 950.
Are financial documents needed?
Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for East Timor citizens on WhatsApp.
Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?
Yes. Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, all from inside the UAE, up to 120 days. Once exhausted, a visa change by air or bus is needed.
What happens if I overstay by a day?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Can I add my child to the application?
Yes. Children require an individual visa at the standard price. We need the passport, photo and birth certificate for each minor.
Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?
Employment is not allowed on a tourist visa. Job seekers can meet employers, but a work permit and residence visa are required before starting work.
