What happens if you overstay

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. Staying longer than 30 or 60 days

Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. The overall ceiling is 120 days of stay. Once you reach the maximum, you must exit and re enter, either through an airport to airport visa change or by bus to Oman. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.

Sharjah visa option

• Leaving out the back cover, which immigration requires alongside the data page.
• Passport validity under six months. Renew before applying.
