Eritrea passport Dubai visa price and requirements

Travellers from Eritrea who need a Dubai visa can get a 30 or 60 day UAE tourist visa from us in single or multiple entry, and the approval normally takes between 24 and 72 hours. The 30 day visa starts at AED 450, four documents are enough for most applicants, and we handle every step on WhatsApp. This page explains what a Eritrea passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.

The essentials for Eritrea citizens: 30 day single entry AED 450, 60 day single entry AED 650, 30 day multiple entry AED 800, 60 day multiple entry AED 1,000. Expect a 24 to 72 hour turnaround and a 60 day window to enter after issue.

Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.

We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.

Who needs a prearranged Dubai visa?

The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. A shorter list of nationalities can enter with a stamp on arrival, and that list moves occasionally. If you are unsure whether a Eritrea passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.

Eritrea passport Dubai visa fees

Current Dubai visa pricing for Eritrea citizens, verified September 2026:

  • 30 day single entry: AED 450
  • 60 day single entry: AED 650
  • 30 day multiple entry: AED 800
  • 60 day multiple entry: AED 1,000

Thirty days is the minimum tourist visa length, and nothing shorter exists in this category. Should immigration refuse the application, the fee is not returned, as it covers government processing.

Refundable security deposit for some nationalities

Some passports are asked for a refundable security deposit. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Eritrea passport is affected.

Pay in monthly instalments

UAE residents applying for a family member or friend from Eritrea can split the visa fee using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa

WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:

  1. A clear scan of your Eritrea passport, both the data page and the back cover, with at least six months validity. Missing back covers cause most resubmissions.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. A two way air ticket. If you have not booked flights yet, we can book them for you.
  4. For minors, a birth certificate. For a few nationalities, a copy of the national ID card is also required.

A bank statement covering six months is required for certain passports. Where Eritrea citizens are affected, the statement of a family member living in the UAE is accepted. UAE immigration may also ask arriving travellers to show proof of funds on entry, so carry a card or cash that demonstrates you can support your stay.

Applying through a family member or friend in the UAE

When a UAE resident applies on behalf of a Eritrea visitor, we also need the sponsor’s passport copy valid for six months, residence visa page valid for six months, Emirates ID front and back, and the guarantee form completed at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.

Getting your Dubai visa in four steps

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
  2. Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Eritrea citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
  4. We forward the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Keep it with your passport for the airline counter and arrival immigration.

Validity, entry and stay rules for Eritrea visitors

The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. Single entry means one arrival only, while multiple entry allows repeated exits and returns during the validity period, useful for side trips to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. The visa is for visiting only and does not allow you to take up work.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. A WhatsApp reminder from us before expiry helps Eritrea visitors avoid fines.

Can Eritrea citizens extend the visa?

Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

Another route for Eritrea passports

For Eritrea travellers who prefer it, the Sharjah 60 day single entry visa costs AED 1,200 and carries no deposit. It works for the entire country, including Dubai. Ask us on WhatsApp which option is better for a Eritrea passport.

Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused

  • No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
  • Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve the visa in that case.
  • Blurred or cropped photos. Use a clear, full colour scan with all four corners visible.
  • Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
  • Single name passports. If your Eritrea passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
  • Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.

Answers for Eritrea citizens

What is the processing time?

Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.

What does the 30 day visa cost?

The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.

Price of a two month visa?

For Eritrea passports AED 650 single entry and AED 1,000 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 600 and AED 950.

Is a bank statement required for a Eritrea passport?

It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for Eritrea passports.

Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?

It can be extended in country: three times for a 30 day visa, twice for a 60 day visa, 30 days each, with a 120 day ceiling. After that, exit and re enter on a new visa.

When do fines start?

No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.

Can I get my money back on refusal?

The fee is not returned if the visa is refused; it covers government processing. Reapplying is possible after the cause of rejection is fixed.

What about children on Eritrea passports?

Certainly. Every child is issued a separate visa at the same rate, and a birth certificate is required in addition to the passport and photo.

Is working permitted?

Working on a tourist visa is prohibited. You can interview and explore opportunities, but employment needs a residence visa.
