Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. Dubai visa price for Germany passport holders

Our rate card for Germany passports, confirmed in September 2026, is as follows:

• 30 day single entry: AED 450
• 60 days, single entry: AED 650

• 60 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 1,000

No tourist visa shorter than 30 days is available. The visa fee is paid to immigration at submission and cannot be refunded if the application is declined.

Refundable security deposit for some nationalities

A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Germany passport is affected.

Pay in monthly instalments

What Germany citizens need to send us

Share these items on WhatsApp and we will confirm whether we can proceed, typically within the hour:

1. Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
3. A round trip ticket, which we can also book for you if it is not yet arranged.
4. If the applicant is a minor, a birth certificate. Certain passports additionally need a national ID card copy.

Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Germany be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. Please also carry a card or some cash, since immigration can ask arriving visitors to show proof of funds.

Sponsor requirements

Sponsors based in the UAE send their passport and residence visa copies with six months validity, front and back of the Emirates ID, and complete the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. A family member’s UAE bank statement can replace the visitor’s statement if one is required, though friends cannot substitute theirs.

Validity and duration of stay

You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. The 30 or 60 day stay is measured from entry, not from issuance. With single entry you may arrive once; multiple entry permits several arrivals within the validity, ideal for regional itineraries that pass through Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. The visa is for visiting only and does not allow you to take up work.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. Can Germany citizens extend the visa?

Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. Combined stay is capped at 120 days. At the 120 day point, a new visa requires an exit, which can be done by an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

Sharjah visa option

For Germany travellers who prefer it, the Sharjah 60 day single entry visa costs AED 1,200 and carries no deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. Ask us on WhatsApp which option is better for a Germany passport.

Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused

• Leaving out the back cover, which immigration requires alongside the data page.
• Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve the visa in that case.
• Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
• Earlier violations or uncancelled visas. Be open with us so we can check the record first.
• Single name passports. If your Germany passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
• Applying too close to the travel date. Allow at least three working days, more during Eid and December.

Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.

Price of a 30 day single entry visa?

What does the 60 day visa cost?

The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.

Is a bank statement required for a Germany passport?

What if I want to stay longer?

Yes, without exit. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each, capped at 120 days total. Beyond that, an exit and re entry is required. Apply before the visa expires.

Are there any grace days?

None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.

Refund policy on rejection?

No refund applies on refusal, since immigration retains the processing charge. You can apply again once the problem is addressed.

What about children on Germany passports?

Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.

Does the tourist visa allow employment?

No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
