Is a Dubai visa required for Grenada citizens?

A prearranged visa is the standard route for most travellers, and it is the product we issue for Grenada passports. A limited number of passports receive a visa on arrival at UAE airports, and the list changes from time to time. If you are unsure whether a Grenada passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.

No tourist visa shorter than 30 days is available. The visa fee is paid to immigration at submission and cannot be refunded if the application is declined.

Does a Grenada passport need a deposit?

Certain nationalities may need to place a refundable security deposit. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Grenada passport is affected.

Payment options

For UAE residents applying on behalf of Grenada family or friends, payment can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

What Grenada citizens need to send us

WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:

  1. Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
  2. A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
  3. A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
  4. Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.

Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Grenada applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. UAE immigration may also ask arriving travellers to show proof of funds on entry, so carry a card or cash that demonstrates you can support your stay.

Sponsor requirements

For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.

How Grenada citizens apply

  1. WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133. We review them within hours and recommend the right visa for your trip.
  2. Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Processing starts only after documents are verified and payment is received.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Grenada citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
  4. Once approved, we send the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Show it at check in and at UAE immigration together with your passport.

How long the Dubai visa is valid

The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. The stay period, 30 or 60 days, starts counting from your arrival date. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.

Why the expiry date matters

Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. Our team messages Grenada visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Extending a Dubai visa for Grenada passport holders

The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. The overall ceiling is 120 days of stay. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.

Sharjah 60 day visa

A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. It is valid for the whole UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Grenada applicants.

Why applications get held up

  • Back cover not sent. It is the most common omission, so attach it from the start.
  • Passport validity under six months. Renew before applying.
  • Blurred or cropped photos. Use a clear, full colour scan with all four corners visible.
  • Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
  • A passport with a single name and no document showing a full name, which immigration cannot process.
  • Applying too close to the travel date. Allow at least three working days, more during Eid and December.

Grenada passport Dubai visa FAQ

How long does a Dubai visa take for a Grenada passport?

Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.

What does the 30 day visa cost?

The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.

60 day visa fee for Grenada citizens?

AED 650 single or AED 1,000 multiple entry, with the Indian and Filipino tariff at AED 600 and AED 950.

Is a bank statement required for a Grenada passport?

It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for Grenada passports.

Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?

Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.

Is there a grace period after the Dubai visa expires?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Can I get my money back on refusal?

Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.

Is there a visa for minors?

Certainly. Every child is issued a separate visa at the same rate, and a birth certificate is required in addition to the passport and photo.

Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?

No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
