Honduras passport and UAE entry rules

The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. We confirm the current position for Honduras passports on WhatsApp so that nobody pays for a visa they do not need.

What a Dubai visa costs from Dubai

Current Dubai visa pricing for Honduras citizens, verified September 2026:

  • Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
  • 60 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 650
  • Multiple entry 30 day visa: AED 800
  • 60 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 1,000

No tourist visa shorter than 30 days is available. The visa fee is paid to immigration at submission and cannot be refunded if the application is declined.

Refundable security deposit for some nationalities

For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. The deposit sits apart from the visa fee, is returned after you leave the UAE, and we confirm the amount for Honduras citizens on WhatsApp before booking.

Instalment plans for UAE residents

UAE residents applying for a family member or friend from Honduras can split the visa fee using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa

WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:

  1. Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
  2. A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
  3. A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
  4. Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.

Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Honduras be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. UAE immigration may also ask arriving travellers to show proof of funds on entry, so carry a card or cash that demonstrates you can support your stay.

Guarantor documents

When a UAE resident applies on behalf of a Honduras visitor, we also need the sponsor’s passport copy valid for six months, residence visa page valid for six months, Emirates ID front and back, and the guarantee form completed at applyvisa.app. A family member’s UAE bank statement can replace the visitor’s statement if one is required, though friends cannot substitute theirs.

Getting your Dubai visa in four steps

  1. Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
  2. Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
  3. We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Honduras applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
  4. You receive the approved visa as a PDF on WhatsApp. Print a copy or keep it on your phone and present it with your passport at check in and on arrival.

How long the Dubai visa is valid

Entry must take place within 60 days of issue, or the visa lapses. The stay period, 30 or 60 days, starts counting from your arrival date. With single entry you may arrive once; multiple entry permits several arrivals within the validity, ideal for regional itineraries that pass through Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.

What happens if you overstay

There is no grace period on a UAE tourist visa. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. Our team messages Honduras visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days

Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. Once you reach the maximum, you must exit and re enter, either through an airport to airport visa change or by bus to Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

An alternative issued through Sharjah

A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We will advise on WhatsApp whether this suits Honduras citizens better than the standard visa.

Mistakes Honduras applicants should avoid

  • Back cover not sent. It is the most common omission, so attach it from the start.
  • Passport validity under six months. Renew before applying.
  • Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
  • Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
  • One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
  • Applying too close to the travel date. Allow at least three working days, more during Eid and December.

Honduras passport Dubai visa FAQ

What is the processing time?

Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.

Price of a 30 day single entry visa?

The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.

60 day visa fee for Honduras citizens?

AED 650 single or AED 1,000 multiple entry, with the Indian and Filipino tariff at AED 600 and AED 950.

Do I need to show a bank statement?

It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for Honduras passports.

Is in country extension possible?

Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.

What happens if I overstay by a day?

None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.

Can I get my money back on refusal?

No. Visa fees, including the service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission. You may reapply after addressing the reason for refusal.

Can children from Honduras apply for a Dubai visa?

Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.

Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?

No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
