Dubai visa for Jamaica passport holders

Travellers from Jamaica who need a Dubai visa can get a 30 or 60 day UAE tourist visa from us in single or multiple entry, and the approval normally takes between 24 and 72 hours. Rates start at AED 450, four documents cover most cases, and our consultants manage the application with you on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Jamaica traveller needs to know: cost, paperwork, timing, validity and what happens when the visa is about to expire.

Quick answer: a Dubai visa for a Jamaica passport costs AED 450 for 30 days single entry, AED 650 for 60 days single entry, AED 800 for 30 days multiple entry and AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry. Processing takes 24 to 72 hours and the visa must be used to enter the UAE within 60 days of issue.

Jamaica passport and UAE entry rules

The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. Some passports are stamped on arrival instead, and the list of eligible countries is updated periodically. We confirm the current position for Jamaica passports on WhatsApp so that nobody pays for a visa they do not need.

Dubai visa price for Jamaica passport holders

Our rate card for Jamaica passports, confirmed in September 2026, is as follows:

  • Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
  • Single entry 60 day visa: AED 650
  • 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
  • 60 days, multiple entry: AED 1,000

The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.

Security deposits explained

Certain nationalities may need to place a refundable security deposit. It is separate from the visa price above, it is refunded after the visitor exits the UAE, and we will confirm on WhatsApp whether it applies to Jamaica passports and how much it is.

Payment options

UAE residents applying for a family member or friend from Jamaica can split the visa fee using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online.

What Jamaica citizens need to send us

Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:

  1. A clear scan of your Jamaica passport, both the data page and the back cover, with at least six months validity. Missing back covers cause most resubmissions.
  2. A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
  3. A two way air ticket. If you have not booked flights yet, we can book them for you.
  4. A birth certificate for children under 18. Some nationalities must also provide a national ID copy.

Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Jamaica be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.

Sponsor requirements

Sponsors based in the UAE send their passport and residence visa copies with six months validity, front and back of the Emirates ID, and complete the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.

Getting your Dubai visa in four steps

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
  2. Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We submit the application once documents and payment are in place.
  3. We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Jamaica applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
  4. We forward the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Keep it with your passport for the airline counter and arrival immigration.

How long the Dubai visa is valid

The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.

Overstay rules in 2026

There is no grace period on a UAE tourist visa. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. Our team messages Jamaica visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Extending a Dubai visa for Jamaica passport holders

Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. The maximum total stay is 120 days. At the 120 day point, a new visa requires an exit, which can be done by an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. Extension applications must be submitted before the current visa expires, so contact us with at least a week remaining.

An alternative issued through Sharjah

For Jamaica travellers who prefer it, the Sharjah 60 day single entry visa costs AED 1,200 and carries no deposit. It works for the entire country, including Dubai. Message us and we will compare both routes for your Jamaica passport.

How to keep your application on track

  • Back cover not sent. It is the most common omission, so attach it from the start.
  • Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
  • Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
  • Earlier violations or uncancelled visas. Be open with us so we can check the record first.
  • A passport with a single name and no document showing a full name, which immigration cannot process.
  • Booking flights before the visa is approved without allowing enough processing time.

Questions Jamaica travellers ask us

How many days until approval?

Most applications are approved within 24 to 72 hours. Processing time is decided by immigration and can be longer if additional documents are requested, so apply at least three working days before travel.

Cheapest Dubai visa option?

AED 450 single or AED 800 multiple entry. Indian and Filipino rates are AED 400 and AED 750. Deposits, where applicable, are confirmed before payment.

60 day visa fee for Jamaica citizens?

For Jamaica passports AED 650 single entry and AED 1,000 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 600 and AED 950.

Are financial documents needed?

Only for certain nationalities. A UAE resident family member’s statement is accepted in those cases. Regardless, carry a card or cash on arrival in case immigration asks for proof of funds. WhatsApp us to check the rule for Jamaica.

Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?

Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.

What happens if I overstay by a day?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Refund policy on rejection?

No. Visa fees, including the service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission. You may reapply after addressing the reason for refusal.

Is there a visa for minors?

Certainly. Every child is issued a separate visa at the same rate, and a birth certificate is required in addition to the passport and photo.

Is working permitted?

Working on a tourist visa is prohibited. You can interview and explore opportunities, but employment needs a residence visa.
