The essentials for Mauritania citizens: 30 day single entry AED 450, 60 day single entry AED 650, 30 day multiple entry AED 800, 60 day multiple entry AED 1,000. Expect a 24 to 72 hour turnaround and a 60 day window to enter after issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Is a Dubai visa required for Mauritania citizens?
Most nationalities need a prearranged visa before flying to the UAE, and that is what we issue. A shorter list of nationalities can enter with a stamp on arrival, and that list moves occasionally. If you are unsure whether a Mauritania passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.
Mauritania passport Dubai visa fees
Our rate card for Mauritania passports, confirmed in September 2026, is as follows:
- Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
- 60 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 650
- 30 days, multiple entry: AED 800
- 60 day multiple entry: AED 1,000
Thirty days is the minimum tourist visa length, and nothing shorter exists in this category. All visa fees, including our service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission.
Refundable security deposit for some nationalities
Some passports are asked for a refundable security deposit. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Mauritania passport is affected.
Pay in monthly instalments
For UAE residents applying on behalf of Mauritania family or friends, payment can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

What Mauritania citizens need to send us
Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:
- Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- A round trip ticket, which we can also book for you if it is not yet arranged.
- Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.
Bank statement requirements depend on nationality. Should Mauritania be one of the passports that needs one, a relative in the UAE can submit their own statement for you. UAE immigration may also ask arriving travellers to show proof of funds on entry, so carry a card or cash that demonstrates you can support your stay.
Sponsor requirements
For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.
The application process step by step
- Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
- Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Mauritania citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- We forward the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Keep it with your passport for the airline counter and arrival immigration.
How long the Dubai visa is valid
The visa must be used to enter the UAE within 60 days of the date of issue. The 30 or 60 day stay is measured from entry, not from issuance. Choose single entry for a straightforward visit, or multiple entry if you plan to hop to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and come back. The visa is for visiting only and does not allow you to take up work.
What happens if you overstay
There is no grace period on a UAE tourist visa. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. A WhatsApp reminder from us before expiry helps Mauritania visitors avoid fines.

Visa extension without leaving the UAE
The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. Extension applications must be submitted before the current visa expires, so contact us with at least a week remaining.
Another route for Mauritania passports
For Mauritania travellers who prefer it, the Sharjah 60 day single entry visa costs AED 1,200 and carries no deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We will advise on WhatsApp whether this suits Mauritania citizens better than the standard visa.
How to keep your application on track
- Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
- Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve the visa in that case.
- Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
- Previous overstays, unpaid fines or improperly cancelled visas. Tell us about any past UAE history so we can advise honestly before you pay.
- Single name passports. If your Mauritania passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
- Last minute applications. Give us a minimum of three working days, longer around Eid and the winter peak.
